*One Month Later*
"Hey babe, how was work?" Lilly asked as Aiden walked in the door while she sat on the couch going through magazines
"It was alright, I've just got a lot on my mind these days." He said bending down to give her a kiss when he noticed the magazines in her hands and on the couch were for wedding dresses
"You're already looking for a dress?" He asked nervously while trying not to sound worried
"Yeah, I figured the sooner the better. I even thought about asking mom could I wear hers but then again that dress of hers is so old that I'm sure rats have started eating on it." She giggled
"I think it's all just a little too soon, you don't want to overwhelm yourself with all of this yet." He said taking the magazine from her hand
"I know, especially since we don't even have a date set for it, but I've been doing some thinking about the ring you were going to get for me."
"If it's the money, I'll have something for you tomorrow."
"It's not that, I know you wanna give me the dream wedding I've always talked about and how I would like for everything to be just perfect. To me a hundred grand is nothing but I realize to you it's a lot and you wanna make me happy. So I suggest that you should spend a reasonable amount on the ring, then we could plan the wedding and whatever's left we can go on a nice honeymoon somewhere, how does that sound?"
He heavily sighed, "It sounds wonderful, but uh, there's something that I must tell you." He said putting the magazines down on the coffee table and sitting next to her
"Of course, after all this is your wedding too." She said as he grabbed both of her hands and looked her in the eyes
"Baby, I do love you very much and I don't see myself with anyone else but you, you are my everything and I cherish every moment we are together."
"Oh honey, that's so sweet! I love you with all of my heart too."
"But I have to be honest with you, and this is just breaking my heart but I must tell you, there isn't going to be a wedding." He sighed as she looked at him weirdly
"What do you mean there isn't going to be a wedding?"
"What I mean is, I'm not going to marry you."
"Wait hold on, if you're not going to marry me then why did you ask for money and say it was for my wedding ring? Are you shopping for a ring or not?"
"The money was actually for the twins and no I'm not shopping for a ring." He said sadly as she snatched her hands away and got up
"You fucking lied to me! Why would you say something like that to me when you knew how badly I wanted to get married!"
"I figured you wouldn't give me the money if I told you the truth, baby I'm really sorry for everything." He said standing up and reaching out for her but she smacked his hand away
"Don't you fucking touch me you liar! For all I know you could be lying about giving my brothers money. You took my money and you lied to me, I can't even stand to look at you right now!"
"Baby I'm sorry."
"JUST GET THE FUCK OUT!" She yelled and started throwing the magazines at him
"I feel so fucking stupid, I wasted hours going through all of this shit to look nice on our special day only to find out it was all a lie.""Lilly please, I'm truly sorry."
"You're gonna be sorry for making me look like a complete fool. I thought I could trust you, I really thought you would be the one person that wouldn't break my heart, but obviously I was wrong." She said as tears were streaming down her face as she wiped them and he tried to comfort her but she gave him an evil glare
