"W-W-Wait, wait!" Jacob rushed between the two side's holding his hands up.
"Uh, Your Grace," he continued chuckling nervously as his brain searched for things to say.
"The, uh... The Captain is well-known for his temper, but his talents as a hunter have served you well. He's opened the seas and made your empire the envy of the known world. Now, I believe the world still needs the hunters, so prove me wrong. Give us one more try for the Bluster. If we take it, you keep your promise, and we continue our alliance. If the Imperator takes the Bluster, well, you can tear down the Inevitable for scrap, and the days of the hunters will be over. Either way, you win," he gave a compelling argument that had both rules and the Admiral smiling.
"I, for one, would relish the opportunity," The admiral stated smugly.
"Then we have a contest. Get set. Go," the King said.
"We'll take the Bluster and bring it to your doorstep. The days of hunters are not over. Not nearly," the captain declared Lillianna watching them as the left.
"It seems you've forgotten your place again. Lock her in her room," the Queen ordered. Two gaurds walked forward and escorted the princess to her room. Or as she called it her cage.
As the Inevitable got ready to cast away the princess stepped out of the carriage. She could hear the words of her parents still rung in her ears.
"The hunter's are good. If they manage to catch the red bluster we need you to vouch that it was infact the imperator that took down the beast and that it was the inevitable that stole the glory," The Queen ordered.
"Are you sure about this?" General Lia asked as she walked beside the princess to the ship the crew mates giving them dirty stares.
"Its and order Lia, I have no choice," Lillianna said softly. Inside she was actually excited. A chance to witness a beast hunting with her own two eyes was something she never dreamed she would be able to experience.
"What is the meaning of this?" The first mate asked walking up to them. Lillianna had to admire the woman, she looked strong, even with a peg leg.
"Order of the king and queen. The princess Lillianna is to accompanied the Inevitable to insure that there is no cheating. Also to act as the crown represented in this matter," the general explained handing over the royal decree. Jacob walked up to her reading over her shoulder.
"The sea ain't no place for a dainty princess," she said defiantly.
"A princess yes, dainty I assure you I am not," Lillianna spoke up. They held each others gaze before she looked Lillianna up and down.
"What's this?" The captain asked walking up to them. Sarah handed him the scroll.
"Well if its an order we cant do nufing bout it. Jacob she'll take your quarters," he said rolling the scroll up. He didn't look to pleased about the whole thing but he didn't seem fazed either.
"This way princess," Jacob said opening his hand out in a motion for them to follow him. She was appointed two guards that followed closely behind her.
"Home sweet home," he said gesturing to the small room. Jacob had half expected the princess to scrunch up her nose and complain about something or other. What he didn't expect was for her eye's to hold a look of wonder as she looked over the item's within. Treasures of his time at sea lined the small shelf along with some books. And a large map.
"That's far enough," One of the guards snapped stepping to stop Jacob from entering any further.
"Easy Brian. This is his room after all. I apologize for occupying it," Lillianna said her eyes still captured by the small skull of an animal.
"No worries. I think were even now. After all that was one hell of a punch," he chuckled rubbing his jaw again.
"Rightly deserved I believe," she commented.
"I don't think so. I stopped you from falling and you punched me," he exaggerated.
"Your groped my breasts," Lillianna hissed turning to him with an accusing tone.
"I accidently held your breast's when I caught you from falling," he argued.
"Well thankyou, but if it requires you to hold me breasts I would have rather feel on the ground," she argued back.
"Yeah sure thing princess. Tell me do your parent's know about your little tavern adventures?" he asked tauntingly.
"Well they do now," she huffed gesturing to the two guards that looked on in slight confusion at your argument.
"Oh I am so sorry your highness," he said with a mockingly low extravagant bow.
"Jokes on you, that's actually the proper way to bow," she said back his taunt now ruined by that fact. He pulled back up with a glare.
"Do you need anything else princess? Perhaps a coconut with a little umbrella in it?" he asked mockingly.
"All that sea waters seem to have clogged your brain up and made you stupide. Coconuts aren't in this season," she said turning away from him. He scoffed in disbelief.
"Well your brain must be filled with, with," he tried to find a word that would suit her predicament.
"Having trouble finding the word?" she asked tauntingly crossing her arms over her chest. He huffed defeated and stormed away. Uncrossing her hands she let out a deep breath.
"Unbelievable, stuck up no good," Jacob grumbled as he stomped across the deck.
