Life isn't easy, life as a princess more so. Lillianna's life was filled with lesson's of etiquette and tight heavy dresses that always seemed uncomfortable. In ever single little detail of her life she was groomed to be the prefect little princess. That was where she was one warm evening. Sitting perfectly upright her pen dancing elegantly across her paper as she listened to her tutor's latest lesson on etiquette. That day's topic happened to be on how to properly apologize from burping.

"Princess?" Lillianna continued her work unaware that her teacher was now staring directly at her, having asked a question and getting silence in response.

"Princess Lillianna!" She snapped slamming her ruler down on her desk. Lillianna's perfectly styled head of red hair snapped up to see her teacher frowning down at her. The golden tiara that sat atop her head tilting to the side slightly at the fast movements. The tiara itself was shaped to look like coral gathering to a tip with a suspended tear shaped emerald hanging in the middle. Lillianna's deep sea green eyes blinked before smiling bashfully. Sighing the tutor shock her head.

"Princess. You must focus, you will be a wife soon, you must preform your duty's with the upmost perfection," Lillianna's stomach turned at the mention of her soon to be engagement.

"Oh yes, Admiral Hornagold," she murmured her displeasure clear on her face.

"Your so lucky. He's such a hunk," the tutor mention with a small giggle.

"A hunk of shit more like it," Lillianna muttered under my breath. She had been engaged to the stuck up snob since they were young. Every time they had an event or dinner she was forced to sit next to him. Her parent's hoped it would form some sort of bond. If anything it pushed them further apart. Well Lillianna further apart, he was smitten for her, well more like her crown.

There attention was taken by the sounds of bell's toiling from a far off place. A wide smile graced Lillianna's lips. Those bells only meant one thing.

"It seems the hunters are back," the tutor mention turning back to Lillianna's desk to see her nowhere in sight, the chair settling itself from where it had been tipped slightly from Lillianna's quick departure. Her head snapped to the doors as they closed Lillianna's figure long gone.

The sketch of a ship in mid hunt with a monster left on the paper of her desk.

That night Lillianna had changed out of the heavy dress into a simple commoners one. Slipping out of her room she mapped every guard detail easily slipping past them and into the stable.

"Red?" She whispered skulking along the side of the stable doors peeking over a certain golden guiled one. Inside sat a large shire horse. Smirking she slipped inside and quickly put on his saddle and bridal before swinging on his back and galloping away.

The party in the port was lively, happy and full of celebration. Wrapping a cloth around her head to hide her hair she made her way into the tavern her smile brightening upon seeing the atmosphere.

Grabbing a pint she took the first sip a mischievous smirk spreading across her lips. The music was baring loudly as she stepped into the jigging circle, letting the dance wash away her worries.

She was enjoying her night becoming slightly tipsy and then decided to enter a knife throwing contest with some of the hunters. One being a certain famous blond haired one.

Jacob Holland. The hunter that killed four of them beasts in two days.

"Three knives each. The centre is five points, and each ring is one less," Sarah Sharp explained the rules gesturing to the target across the room. She was a strong woman with sharp features and a peg for a leg. Another rule to the game was you had to drink a whole pint before making your throw. So the people cheered as Lillianna quickly downed hers whipping away the small dribble that escaped.

"The one with the most points wins," Lillianna said flipping the knife in her hand before throwing it hitting dead centre.

"Impressive," The hunter commented taking an ale and sculling it before throwing his own knife which hit right next to hers.

"Impressive," she recited grabbing another ale. By now she was really feeling the effects of the alcohol and when she chucked it, she lost her balance ever so slightly swaying to the side making the knife just miss the centre. Groaning she cursed under her breath turning to see Jacob's smug smirk.

"You know your supposed to hit the target," he said. Lillianna shock her head her competitive nature fighting to surface. "Here let me show you," he said sculling an ale before throwing the knife planting it directing in-between the other two.

"Oh wow, I would have never have guess," Lillianna sarcasm made him chuckle. A chuckle that had the princess blushing ever so slightly. She wasn't gonna lie, he was a handsome man. Sculling yet another ale she hiccupped grabbing another knife.

"You know hitting a targets great an all, but hitting the hilt of a knife," she said earning the crowd to let out excited sounds at the challenge. Blinking rapidly she took a deep breath focusing everything she had and praying to every god to hit her mark. After all, she wasn't going to lose to some cocky hunter. Flinging the knife she let out a cry of victory as it hit the hilt of one of Jacob's daggers.

"HA!" she cheered pumping her fists in victory.

"Well I have to say that's mighty impressive," he said stepping up to her knife in hand ale in the other. The two stood inches from each other. Lillianna was momentarily distracted by the movements of his addams apple as he gulped, and the little droplet of ale that escaped his mouth and trailed down his neck onto his chest. Quickly pulling her eyes away from his chest she looked up at him. Maintaining eye contact he flipped the knife in his hand before flinging it. The crowd roared with cheers as he smirked smugly. Shaking her head she looked over at the target to see he had hit the hilt of the knife she had just thrown. All without looking. Nodding she admitted her defeat.

"Good game," She said holding her hand out for a shake.

"Oh did we start already?' he asked. She huffed pulling her hand back and turning on her heal.

"I didn't get your name," he called after her.

"I didn't give it,"  she smirked over her shoulder before disappearing from his view. He watching the spot she had disappeared to a bit longer before turning to his mates that congratulated him.

Lillianna was clapping along to a song sitting at the bar when something brushed up against her side. Looking to see what it was she propped an eyebrow at the mop of small curly brown hair that scampered after Jacob.
