The celebration was still in full swing when the bells tolled. Everyone at the banquet let out fearful cries as they all rushed away. Chaos enveloped them all.
"What's happening?" Sarah asked pulling Maisie behind her protectively.
"There been an attack on the palace. Please return to your rooms," A guard ordered leading them away.
"LILLIANNA! LILLIANNA!" Jacob now fully dressed rushed through the palace halls running into his crew.
"Captain!" Sharp called as they rushed up to them.
"Have you seen Lillianna?" Jacob asked erratic.
"No, she left to find you," Sarah shook her head.
"Why? Where is she?" Maisie asked her worry growing at her father's fearful face.
"There was that same gas, when I woke up she was gone," he said. The crew's hearts dropping at his words.
Lillianna was gone.

Lillianna was awoken by the soft sway of her body and the sound of hooves. Blinking her eyes open she focused through the haze to see the roof of a finely furnished carriage. She had been dressed in a simpler sari.
"Good morning my dear," shooting up into a sitting position Lillianna's eyes snapped to the opposite seat of the carriage. There sat the prince with a smile upon his face. Her heart pounded in her chest as she tried to make sense of what was happening.
"Where am I?" Lillianna asked looking out the window to see nothing but barren rock land.
"Your on your way to my own personal palace. The strongest fort in the whole kingdom," he said proudly.
"And why would I be on my way there?" Lillianna asked the realization sinking into her skin.
"Because we are to be married my love," he said as if it was the simplest thing in the world. Lillianna's hands tightened into fists. Her eyes flickered to the door handle her immediate thought being to get the hell out of there.
"I wouldn't do that if I were you. There's nothing for miles. Plus there are many dangerous beings that roam the barren land. And you wouldn't want to risk the life of your precious child would you?" he asked. At the mention of her baby, Lillianna glared.
"How do you know?" she asked.
"Well you were taking quite a while to wake up from the gas so I had my physician examine you," he said with a shrug. "Don't worry. I am not a monster. When the child is born I will give it away to an orphanage," he talked as if he was doing her a favor.
"Your mad," Lillianna whispered.
"Not mad my love. Very very sane. You would be mad to try an escape," he said amused by her words.
"Why are you doing this?" Lillianna asked.
"Well, I wasn't always the heir you see. My elder brother was thought to be next in line. After all, he was better at me in everything. Everything except the mind. I was always smarter than him, more cunning. So when my engagement to you was announced I slipped a priest a bribe. Asked him to claim he heard a prophecy about the beautiful red-haired princess. And that the one destined to marry her would become the greatest ruler this land has ever seen," he started to explain.
"This greatly helped my chances. Then our engagement was broken off. Only half of my supporters still believed in the little prophecy. The other half claimed that the next man you married would be the great leader. Put a large dent in my plans. So I put all this elaborate plan together. My father named me heir under the condition that I marry you. I believed you would be easily seduced just like all the other women. But unfortunately, you really do love your husband. When I saw you two on the balcony I knew my efforts would be in vain so here we are. You will annul your marriage to your husband and you will marry me. We will live in wedded bliss as emperor and empress and you will bare me many sons," his words sickened Lillianna to her core.
"And if I don't?" she asked. The prince smiled a sickening smile that had Lillianna's skin crawling.
"This little bottle is filled with a concoction that can kill an unborn child in a matter of minutes," he said fishing out a small vile from his pocket.
"If you don't do as I say I will have my men hold you down, I will force this down your throat and I will leave you to wither in agony as you feel your child die inside you," Lillianna was frozen as his words echoed around her head. The dark liquid in the vile swirling tauntingly at her. The thought of her child dying punched through her chest holding her heart in an icy grip.
"So what will it be?" he asked tauntingly tilting his head to the side.
"You're a monster," Lillianna whispered a single tear falling from her eye.
"Oh no my dead. A monster would have killed your child already," he said smirking as he pocketed the vile.
Lillianna knew it was stupid to try and escape at that moment. And she didn't want to test if the prince was bluffing or not. So she sat in silence biding her time and taking in everything around her. Looking for anything, landmarks, and tools that could help her escape. She found none.
When they arrived at the fort she was taken to a tower and locked inside. Walking over to the bed she sunk into it rolling over to hug a pillow close. And then she cried. Cried for the unknown future of herself and the child inside her. She cried for the fear that fought to consume her whole.
