If there was one thing Lillianna missed from the place it would be the long hot baths. She scrubbed the ink from her hair and the dirt from her body. And she talked with the empress telling her of her adventures. Lillianna was working some oils gently into Maisies hair.

"Mum are you mad at dad?" Maisie asked softly.

"Yeah, I am honey," Lillianna never lied to Maisie. That's one reason why Maisie felt so comfortable asking her anything.

"Why?" she asked.

"Because he was stupid enough to think I would leave him for a prince," Lillianna said.

"Would you?" Maisie asked. Lillianna paused spinning her around on the fancy chair.

"No one in the world would make me leave you or your father. I love you two far too much," Lillianna said simply.

"Promise," she said holding out her pinky.

"I promise," Lillianna said hooking her pinky with hers.

"Now, how should we do your hair?" Lillianna asked turning her back around. Deciding on a large bun Maisie held a bright smile as Lillianna fixed her hair.

"Alright now it's your turn," The empress said walking forward with a tray of golden trinkets. It was a wholesome moment. Three generation's of a mismatched family.  When they were done Maisie smiled looking happily over her hair. Then Lillianna saw her own. Beautiful golden clasp were braided into her hair half of it pulled back into a bun surrounded by golden flowers with golden wisteria falling down it's side. Trailing over her head was a dangling sapphire. Much to her protest Lillianna was forced into a beautiful dark navy sari, with golden glittering stitching of peacocks all over it, Maisie opting for a deep teal coloured one. The empress even managed to get her to wear a bit of makeup. Lillianna was covered head to toe in jewellery, belled rings around her ankles that jingled with each step. A traditional dress of royalty. There was only two instance's a outfit like this was worn by a foreigner. If they were engaged or married to a member of the royal family, or if they were a honoured guest of the royal family. Which Lillianna was.

In the banquet room the crew stayed close to each other fusing with the foreign cloths.

"Announcing the empress and the royal family's honoured guest. Queen Lillianna Seabreaker and her daughter Maisie!" The large golden doors of the banquet opened and Jacobs jaw went slack. Lillianna looked like a goddess adorned in all the jewel's. She walked down the stair with Maisie hand in hers. The maid servants throwing flowers from the balcony covering them in a white blanket of petals. Quickly people rushed forward to greet her. Jacob went to walk forward when he paused seeing Himmat step up to her. Something creeped inside him when he saw it.

A dark thought that quickly sunk its claws deep.

She looked perfect, she looked like an empress. So in that moment Jacob let himself believe a terrible thought. He believed that he had taken all of it away from her. He believed in marry him she gave up all the nice things in life, all the fine jewel's, all the banquets and respect she would be given as a monarch.

Lillianna smiled greeting those around her placing her hands together and bowing to them. She searched for her husband unable to see him.

"Maisie can you see your dad?" Lillianna asked her.

"I'll go find him," she said rushing off excited to show him her outfit.

"Come," Himmat quickly lead her to a chair. Thinking she was going to finally sit down she sat, only for the chair to be lifted into the air. She let out an exclamation of surprise holding tightly onto the chair. The crowd started to cheer as music started. They started to dance and bounce her around.

"What is going on?" Sharp asked bewildered by everything.

"We are celebrating the honoured guest. My people believe she is blessed by our gods. And that by having her here gives us the chance to appease them through her," Himmat explained walking up to him with a young boy about Maisies age next to him.

"Dad!" Maisie called rushing up to him.

"Woah look at you," Jacob said pulling her into a side hug.

"Maisie, this is my younger brother. I thought it would be fun for you to have someone your age to play with. Ahmad this is Maisie," Himmat introduced the two. Ahmad smiled giving her a bow, and against her will a blush dusted Maisies cheeks.

"Would you like to go play marbles?" the young prince asked.

"Ok," Maisie nodded the two rushing off.

"Hey," Jacob called after her but she was long gone.

"Let the children play. Come my friend I wish to speak with you,"  Himmat said leading Jacob out to the balcony.

"My friend you are truly lucky, A woman like that doesn't come around every century," Himmat said gesturing back into the hall where Lillianna was finally placed down people lining up to bless her.

"Yeah," Jacob muttered.

"But your luck is about to run out my friend. You see I intend to win Lillianna's heart," he said earing Jacobs signature glare.

"What makes you think she'll be won over?" he asked crossing his arms over his chest.

"She is a noble woman, born of privilege. She should be showered in jewels morning, noon, and night. I can provide her what she deserves, can you do that same?" Himmat was taking a jab at Jacob, and with his thoughts form before it was effective.

"I trust my wife," Jacob put emphasis on the word wife.

"Just remember my friend, she was going to be my wife at one point," with that last comment the prince walked off.

Lillianna had tried to find Jacob several times throughout the night. But before she could find him she was either whisked away by dignantries or the royals. She was given all sorts of gifts and blessings. When she had free time she was informed that Lia and Hornagold had arrived in port and would be here in the morning. Himmat claimed that everything had been explained and the emperor wasn't all to happy about the lie Hornagold had told.
