Maisie held tightly only Lillianna's hand. Red had long since left, heading back home to safety. She had just disappeared from view when a stamped of royal horses approached the three on the beach.

The general jumped from her horse looking over the three.

"Your majesty. The palace is in disarray. There's riots at the gates. We need you," she said simply. Maisie gripped tightly only Lillianna's hand drawing her eyes. Lillianna smiled kneeling down.

"You've made a right good mess," Lillianna said with a smirk.

"Are you going back?" she asked.

"Yes," Lillianna nodded maisies face falling. Lillianna gently tipped her chin up.

"And when I'm done I'm coming right back to you," she said. Maisie brightened at those words.

"Both of you," she said looking up to Jacob.

"You expect us to just wait around for you?" Jacob asked teasingly. Lillianna smiled standing. Grabbing him by the belt she pulled him into a kiss. A kiss that had Maisie giggling excitedly as she hid behind her hands only to peek through her fingers.

"Well I guess I just have to then dont i?" Jacob asked still slightly dazed by the kiss. Lillianna smiled pulling the two into a hug before walking to the general hopping onto the horses back.

"You keep him out of trouble Maisie," Lillianna said.

"You can count on me your highness," Maisie said with a curtsied. Lillianna laughed shaking her head before turning the horse and galloping away. Lillianna couldn't explained the feeling as she galloped across the beach. The sunset cast her hire in golden hues. She had done something amazing, and she wasn't finished yet.

The world started to change. The tale of Maisie's bravery and her sidekicks, captain someday and the princess spread like wild fire. Lillianna returned to the palace. The King and Queen were dethroned and Lillianna was named the new queen. Lillianna put everything she was taught to use. She settled the uproar.

She personally saw to the investigation of the rumours. To no ones surprise all of Maisie's words were true.

A law was passed, that the beasts beyond the dreadmor would be protected, the hunting of them now outlawed.

Then Lillianna did something that had never been done before in the history of the reigning classes. She created a council. A council to serve the people. A council that had members voted in from all classes. She relinquished the power of the crown.

It's said that the crowns now rested at the bottom of the dreadmor sea. It rested amongst the graveyard of all who had died because of it. A fitting end for them Lillianna believed.

The Queen Lillianna became quiet famous. Everyone knew of her, knew what she looked like. What they don't know is what happened to her. After she relinquished her power to the council she disappeared.

There are a few rumours.

Some say she ran away with a man.

Another said she was murdered.

One even suggested she had used magic to change her face and sit on one of the seats of the council.

The world had started to change. And Lillianna had done her part. so she decided to grasp her freedom with both hands.

The inevitable sailed over the bright open sea the wind billowing wildly. The ship had been salvaged, rebuilt and repaired.

It was one of the very few ships that were permitted to sail the borders of the dreadmor sea. Of course it no longer hunted beasts but it became a merchant ship. Shipping wears over the dangerous waters. There knowledge of the beasts gave them the power to avoid them.

Jacob had become the next Captain of the ship. Just like his father had wanted. Yet the entries he made into the captains log wasnt of the beasts he killed. It was of trade routs, shipping manifolds and a few secrets here and there.

Sarah Sharp instantly stepped forward to be first mate. And most of the crew followed.

Maisie, like there was any stopping her from doing what she wanted. She named herself the new Captain someday.

And Lillianna. Well it's pretty simply what happened.

She woke up when she wanted. She dressed how she wished and she ate whatever tickle her fancy. She stood at the front of the ship. She wore a shirt similar to jacobs a pair of pants and boots on her feet. Her hair wild and free billowed in the wind. She closed her eyes and tilted her head back.

She was free.

Feeling a hand snake its way around her waist as she was pressed against a solid chest she smiled.

And she would marry the man she loved.
