A WEEK LATER
(Simon arrives in Mexico City and finds his way to Mr Gilbert's mansion)
Simon: (cheerfully) Good day Mr Gilbert!
Mr Gilbert: Simon, It's great to see you again (He shakes hands with him) How was your trip?
Simon: It was smooth sir
Mr Gilbert: Hope it wasn't hard to locate my house?
Simon: No no, It wasn't (glancing around) But I must say, It's grand and magnificent
Mr Gilbert: Much appreciated!
Caitlin: (she enters the living room) Hi there, Who are you?
Simon: Hello ma'am. I'm Simon, Elena's friend and Orora's boyfriend
Caitlin: Okay, Welcome to our home (To Mr Gilbert) Why didn't you tell me he was coming?
Mr Gilbert: Well he said he wanted it to be a surprise. Besides, he's family.
(Elena, Orora and Martin come out to welcome him)
Elena: (excited) Simonnn! Hi
Orora: Oh my gosh! Simon! (she rushes to embrace him then she pecks his cheeks) How're you doing?
Simon: I'm fine my love, Hope you didn't miss me too much?
Orora: (giggling) Mm-hmm
Simon: (To Martin) How're you doing bro?
Martin: I'm good
Simon: Where are the others?
Elena: Oh, Nate isn't home, He's in Denver while Rosita and Helen went to the grocery store
Simon: Can't wait to see them again!
Elena: I'm sure you had a long journey, You should go freshen up and then have something to eat
Simon: Yeah, I'll do just that.
Mr Gilbert: Elena, Why don't you show him to his room?
Elena: Okay. Simon, come with me!
Simon: Alright (He follows Elena upstairs)
(Later on)
(In the garden, Elena & Orora are relaxing together in a deck chair)
Orora: Now our house is full
Elena: Not yet...
Orora: Why? Who's missing?
Elena: It's my grandma, She isn't here and she refused to come over to Mexico City
Orora: Ohhh
Elena: But I'm happy that my Dad recently hired some bodyguards for her to make sure she's well protected.
Orora: Bodyguards? Did something happen to her before?
Elena: Well, She was a victim of arson. Someone tried to burn down the house with her in it but thanks to God, She was rescued. So we decided to take extra precautions to protect her and to prevent something like that from ever happening again
Orora: Mmm, That's a wise idea
Elena: Orora, I wanna ask you something
Orora: Ok go on
Elena: What happened to your father? Where is he?
Orora: (sighs) Honestly, I don't know where he is or how he's doing. He vanished before I left the house that day and I haven't seen him ever since then. I pray he's safe
