Staying close to the walls, everyone followed Eddie. He held your arm lightly, hiding your face with his jacket. You gripped onto the sleeve, looking back at everyone. Giving Eddie the go to, he raced across the yard, pressing up against another building before sneaking to the back of an RV. To be honest, this isn't what you thought he meant, but it sure was a hell of a good plan.

Throwing open the window, Eddie slid inside, tossing his mask aside. Grabbing your arm he helped you in, giving you a wink before quietly running to the front of the van. Helping the kids inside, you moved aside so Nancy, Robin and Steve could climb in. Making sure the door was locked, you watched Eddie from over the passenger seat. It looked like he was hot wiring the vehicle.

"Where did you learn to do this?" Steve questioned, peering over his seat.

"Well, when the other dad's were teaching their kids how to fish or play ball, my old man was teaching me how to hotwire," Eddie grunted, biting his lip as he twisted the wires. A wave of empathy rode over you, brows furrowing.

"I swore to myself I wouldn't end up like him, but uh," He glanced over at you, clearing his throat. "Now I'm wanted for murder, and soon, grand theft auto. So uh, really living up to that Munson name."

Someone held your shoulders, leaning over at Eddie, "Hey, Eddie, I'm not sure I love the idea of you driving." Remembering how he drove the van, you couldn't help but agree.

"Oh I'm just starting this sucker. Harrington's got her," He grinned, leaning back a bit. "Don't you, big boy?"

Steve stammered for a bit before the RV started, the people outside shouting and slamming on the vehicle. The two men immediately switched places.

"Everyone hold on to something!" You shouted, shoving Robin in front of you so she could hold the seat. The couple outside were pounding on the door, you reaching for the handle to keep it locked.

"Oh my god, oh my god, Steve let's go!!" Lucas yelled from the back.

"Harrington, let's go!" You grunted, keeping a firm hand on the door.

"Drive Steve, drive!" Dustin screamed, Steve putting the pedal to the metal and sending everyone jerking. Your hand slipped and you hit the floor, groaning.

"Go, go, go!" Erica yelled, Eddie wobbly leaning down next to you and sat you up.

"Oh shit, they looked pissed!" Dustin's voice cracked.

Robin laughed, "Well, it's not every day you lose your house and car in one fell swoop!"

"Hang on, hang on!" Steve shouted, practically jerking himself as he turned a sharp right. Eddie gripped onto the table, holding your waist to keep you from rolling around. Taking a deep breath, you couldn't help but laugh.

"Everyone ok?" You asked, a sound of 'yes' going off in the van.

"Holy shit that was awesome!" Dustin exclaimed, grinning and chuckling. Steve finally settled down, the RV now casually going down the back roads. Munson helped you sit at a little dining table, or that's what you guessed it was. You peered out the window to make sure no one had followed you, bouncing your leg.

"Everything ok?" Robin slid in across from you guys. "Nobody's following us, right?"

"Yeah, no, I mean, no, no one's following us," You stammered off, anxiety creeping up your back. A gentle hand landed on your thigh. Taking a deep breath you grasped the hand, relaxing back into the seat. Nodding, she gave Eddie a knowing glance before going to talk to Nancy.

"You're going to shake the whole RV, sweetheart," Eddie joked, lifting your hand to kiss your knuckles. "We're safe, nobody saw you."

"It's not me I'm worried about, Munson," You sighed, interlacing your fingers. "You don't...honestly think you're like your dad, do you?"
