You and Eddie had spent most of the night talking away. Asking elementary type questions, really. What was your favorite color, favorite animal, did you have a pet growing up? Occasionally, you'd recount embarrassing childhood memories, just in an attempt to make each other laugh. It worked, mostly.

Dim light finally started to peek through the windows, catching your attention, "Wow... we really talked the night away."

Eddie snickered, twiddling with his rings, "Yeah.. yeah. Hey, um, I still got a couple questions, if you're up to it?"

"Like you don't already know my life story," You joked, nudging his knee with your own. "Course Munson, shoot."

"How come you moved? If it's personal, I understand, but uh, I don't know you seem to have a good thing going in Hawkins," He asked, pushing some of his hair back.

You shrugged, "I don't know, I guess I've always felt off in Hawkins? Like something wasn't quite right here. And, my parents divorcing made the perfect reason for my dad to pack up and leave with me."

"Do you feel weird now?"

You paused for a moment, "Every now and then. Feels like a heavy weight on my chest. You probably think I'm crazy or something."

"With all the shit that's happened, no, that's by far the least crazy thing I've heard," He chuckled, twiddling with his rings.

You smiled and rubbed your knees, thanking him quietly. Smiling, he cleared his throat.

"So, you have lived here before, right?" You nodded, looking up at him. "Did you ever participate in a talent show? At Hawkins middle?"

You gaped up at him, face heating up. God you hoped that wasn't noticeable. When he looked over at you, you simply nodded. He grinned and leaned his head back.

"So," You began, tapping your foot. "How's Corroded Coffin?"

He laughed in his throat, rubbing his forehead, "I can't believe it's you."

"I can't believe you remember me."

He looked at you strangely, coughing, "You're kidding right? You know, you were the first, and only, person to ask me for an autograph. And like, the only girl to talk to me." You snorted into your hand, giggling. "I have to admit though, if it wasn't for the Leslie Gore song coming on the radio, I wouldn't have realized it was you."

"Oh really?" You grinned. "Still any good?"

"Yeah, totally still killing it," Eddie mused. "I wasn't sure if it was actually you, but I thought of you anyway. How'd you remember me?"

Nibbling the inside of your cheek, you pulled out your wallet and handed it to him. Cocking a brow at you, he gingerly opened the wallet. You held your knees as he pulled out the paper and opened it up.

"I kept it. Even when I moved," You smiled to yourself, messing with the laces in your shoes. "I'm not sure I ever forgot you, Eddie." Facing your head towards him again, you realized you managed to make the Eddie Munson speechless. That hadn't been your intent, but you felt oddly proud of yourself for it. Chocolate eyes stared into e/c eyes markedly.

He opened his mouth to say something, and seemed to get stuck on the words for a moment, "I'm... why?"

"I don't know. You made me into the rocker I am to say, in the least," You chuckled. "I thought you were super cool, and rugged, handsome-"

"Handsome?" Interrupted Eddie, an amused grin dancing on his lips.

Flushed, you realized your mistake, trying to back pedal, "Well, yeah, you are."
