"Hey, Jason, what, what are you doing here?" You laughed awkwardly, holding the door.

"Well, uh, have you heard what happened," He cleared his throat, shifting his jaw. "To Chrissy."

You felt tears sting the back of your eyes as you nodded, gasping softly, "Oh my God, Jason, how are you?"

He nodded his head a couple times, "Handling. I'm, I'm handling. You know my friends right?" He pointed behind him with his thumb and you gave a quaint smile, waving. Confused, you glanced at Lucas, wrinkling your brows. The freshman shook his head, and you got the message.

"Did you all just clown car to my house to tell me about Chrissy? Cause, I've been told, and I really don't wanna think about it," You frowned, going to close your door. Roughly, Jason's hand stopped the door from closing, pushing it back open.

"Actually I just had an interesting conversation with that Cult of his. They mentioned Dustin Henderson? Then I remembered that you'd been to his house before, to babysit?" He was staring you down, searching for any sign of knowing.

Gripping the door, you shook your head and pursed your lips, "I mean yeah I know him, but I don't know him that well."

"Well enough to go to the Hellfire Club the night Chrissy went missing?" Another one of the basketball players shouted. Shit. Fuck, you were so going to kill those guys later.

"Yeah, I was sort of a caterer. I have the receipt in my wallet," You smiled to push back the anxiety clouding your brain. "It's just upstairs, give me a second." Trying to close the door again, you were met with another of Jason's hands. Unstoppable force meets immovable object.

"They also said you guys seemed to have hit it off. Flirting around the table and such," His jaw was clenched, fingers nearly digging into your front door.

You laughed incredulously, "Well that's ridiculous cause we barely talked. Like I said. Just a caterer." You pleaded to yourself to not let out a sweat, just taking regular shallow breaths. He seemed like he might be buying it.

"So you don't know where Munson is?"

"No, I'm sorry, I wish I could tell you," You sighed, reaching out and holding his shoulder. "I'm really sorry about what happened to Chrissy. She was important to me too." He took a deep breath and nodded, turning away from your house. 'Get away, get away, please get in your car and leave.'

Patrick, you knew him barely, glared at you, "Hey wait! She's wearing one of the freak's rings!" Your heart dropped as you looked down at it.

"Shit," You breathed, letting out a short scream as Jason turned to charge you, slamming your door closed and locking it up.

"Open the door, y/l/n! Don't make us ram it down!" Jason pounded on the door as you stepped away, trying to collect your thoughts. Fuck, shit, fucking hell. Running upstairs, you panickedly grabbed your switch-blade, shoving it in your back pocket. You had to get out of there; time to get over your fear of heights. Opening your window, you groaned and hesitantly stepped out, sitting on the window sill. Pressing your lips together you pushed yourself off, tucking and rolling.

If you weren't literally trying to run for your life, you'd be proud of yourself. You had time later. Sprinting for the woods in your backyard, you attempted to jump the fence in front of it. Screaming, you were tackled to the ground, punching Jason across the face and dragging yourself from beneath him. He grabbed your ankle, causing you to fall back down. Kicking with your free leg, another basketball player snatched your arms, pulling you up.

"Fucking let go of me!" You shouted, struggling in the man's arms. Jason covered your mouth, muffling your shouting.

"Shut up!" Glaring you chomped down on his hand, making him yell out in pain. Striking you across the face, he grabbed his hand. "Get her in the car!" You did everything in your power to get away, lifting yourself up and kicking, screaming against the new hand on your mouth. You tried to plead to Lucas, who seemed to be ignoring you. Fucking hell, what were you supposed to do? You couldn't lead them back to Eddie, anything but that.
