Steve, Dustin, and I came up with a plan to lead it to a spot with meat chunks. We walk on the train tracks and drop pieces of meat as we go on.
Apparently, Dustin likes this girl. He never told us the name of this girl, but I'm interested in the story nevertheless.
Alright, so let me get this straight. You kept something you knew was probably dangerous to impress a girl...who you just met?" Steve questions in disbelief.
"Alright, that's grossly oversimplifying things," Dustin replies.
"I mean, why would a girl like some nasty slug anyway?" Steve question.
"An interdimensional slug? Because it's awesome," Dustin says.
"Well, even if she thought it was cool, which she didn't, I... I just... I don't know. I just feel like you're trying way too hard," Steve says.
"Well, not everyone can have your perfect hair, alright?" Dustin sighs.
"It's not about the hair, man. The key with girls is just... acting like you don't care," Steve says.
I laugh, and Steve rolls his eyes.
"Even if you do?" Dustin asks.
"Yeah, exactly. It drives them nuts," Steve replies.
Steve's way of getting girls is interesting. Although, I suppose it works since he would get all of the girls before Billy came along.
"Then what?" Dustin asks.
"You just wait until, uh... you feel it."
"Feel what?" Dustin questions.
"It's like before it's gonna storm, y'know? You can't see it, but you can feel it, like this, uh... electricity, y'know?"
"Oh, like the electromagnetic field when the clouds in the atmosphere-"
"No, no, no, no, no. Like a... Like a sexual electricity."
"Oh," Dustin says.
"You feel that and then make your move."
"So that's when you kiss her?" Dustin asks.
"No, whoa, whoa. Slow down, Romeo."
"Sorry."
"Sure, okay, some girls, yeah, they want you to be aggressive. You know, strong, hot and heavy, like a... I don't know. Like a lion.
"Mmm," Dustin hums.
"But others, you gotta be slow, you gotta be stealthy, like a ninja," Steve says.
"Like a ninja," Dustin repeats.
Steve's way of looking at girls isn't too far off. I guess it is something to admire about him. He's not an asshole.
"What type is Nancy?" Dustin asks.
"Nancy's different. She's different than the other girls."
"Yeah, she seems pretty special, I guess."
"Yeah. Yeah, she is."
I see Steve get a bit sad, and I put my hand on his back to help.
"But this girl's special, too, y'know. It's just, like, something about her."
"Woah, Woah, Woah. Hey, hey, hey," Steve blurts.
"What?" Dustin asks.
"You're not falling in love with this girl, are you?" Steve questions.
