Today is Christmas Eve! Christmas used to be my brother and I's favorite holiday. I get in the car and head to the skate shop. I grab a board I think Max would like and get new wheels for it too. Max's board is starting to get razor tail, and it's about time she gets a new one.

I realize that I have no idea what to give Billy. He never expresses what he wants unless it's women. I roll my eyes at the thought and get in my car. I'll have to ask Max.

I put Max's board into a box and wrapped it with wrapping paper.

I walk over to Max's window and knock on it. She opens it and smiles, letting me in.

"Hey, Max," I say.

"Hi, mary Christmas Eve," she smiles.

"Thanks, you too. I was wondering if you had any idea what your brother would want for Christmas?" I question.

She sits down and begins to think.

"I would say cologne, but he has a thousand of those."

I nod, and she thinks some more.

"A new basketball?" She suggests.

"Doesn't he already have one?"

"Yeah," she sighs.

I wait for her to come up with a new idea, but it's taking her a while too.

"What about a new watch?" she suggests.

"Oh, that's a good idea! I'll get him a watch. Anything else he would like?" I ask.

"Well, the album came out like, five months ago, but Billy has been wanting to get the album Ride The Lighting by Metallica for a while now. Neil will never let him get it, though. He always says he should save his money for something else, and if Billy went out and bought it, he would throw it away. Neil's a real dipshit."

"Great, I'll buy it for him. Thanks, Max! I'm going to go out and get it," I say.

She gives me a thumbs up and I sneak back out the window. I drive my car down to the music store and see that there is one more Ride The Lighting album. I walk over to it and I grab it at the same time someone else does. Jenny.

"It's mine," I hiss.

"No, it's mine."

"Since when do you listen to metal?" I glare.

"I don't. I'm getting it for someone special. Who knows, he could start to like me after," she smiles at the thought.

"Who the hell starts to like someone just because they gifted them a metal album?" I laugh.

"Maybe he will. Who knows," she hisses.

"Well, I need this for my boyfriend. So, I'm taking it."

"Well, I need this for my crush!"

"That's too bad."

"If I tell you who it is, will you let me take the album?"

"Depends," I say.

She rolls her eyes and looks down at the album and back at me.

"You tell me the name of your boyfriend, and perhaps, I'll let you keep it."

"Tell me the name of your crush."

"Fine. At the same time, kay?"

I roll my eyes at her childish games.

"Fine. Three..."

"Two..."

"One..."

"Billy Hargrove," she says.
