Things have been crazy around the house lately.

Jared and Gen had been taking care of the kids most of the time because I've been spending most of my time with Jensen.

His lawyers are trying everything in their power to have all the evidence they need so the trial takes less than three sessions to be all set and done. For that to happen, Jensen had been attending meetings with them for the past week, and I've been going with him.

The last meeting is due for today since the trial begins tomorrow morning and because neither Gen nor Jared could take care of the kids because they have a doctor appointment, we decided to bring the meeting to the house. This way I can listen to what the lawyer had to say and watch out for the kids.

"You've been quiet... what's wrong?" — All morning, Jensen has been pacing around the house without saying a word. Not even when the kids came up to him and asked him to come play with them, he just ignored them... Well, I don't think he ignored them, I just think he didn't even listen to them.

"Just thinking." — He was looking at the time on the clock that was just above the fireplace in the living room.

"I can see that, but I want to know about what you're thinking so hard about that you even ignored the kids?" — I closed my laptop, putting it back on the coffee table in front of me. He looked at me with a' I screwed up' kind of look in his eyes, which made me smile.

"I did?" — I knew that he didn't even hear the kids talking with him, but still I had to nod my head in confirmation. — "Shit... I was so lost in my own head that I didn't even hear them... are they mad?" — He walked closer to me, taking a seat on the couch while playing with his trembling hands.

"They are not mad, I told them that you were thinking about tomorrow... are you nervous?" — I let my fingers gently play with the small locks of hair in the back of his head, trying to make him relax for a bit.

"I know that I shouldn't, but I'm shitting myself...what if she wins? What if, for some reason, the judge gives Danneel JJ's full custody?" — His voice is so quiet whenever he talks about the chance of Danneel winning this trial, like he is afraid that if he talks too loud it may come true.

"That isn't going to happen, Jay... we have all the evidence we need to put that woman in a mental hospital, you know? She abused you, she threatened you... she's crazy, and I don't think that any judge would give a child to a woman like Danneel." — I've been trying for the past few days to remove that stupid idea out of his head because it's true, no one would give Danneel the custody of a child.

"When all of this is over... I will marry you." — He's been saying this since the moment we kissed in the park a few days ago and every time he gets a smile on my face even if it is too good to be true.

"So... not getting on one knee and no ring? Wow, so romantic that I might say yes right away." — I tried to humor this situation as best as I could. I know perfectly well that this trial might take months to be solved and after that, Jensen will want some time to be with Justice and enjoy their lives together.

"I'm being serious... I made a promise to you some years ago, and I intend to keep it. I will marry you as soon as this shit is over." — I was smiling when I felt his lips touching mine lightly and only for a second because the doorbell rang loudly. — "I'll get that."

I decided that it was best if I go and take a look at the kids for a moment before coming down again to hear the meeting.

Obviously it was supposed to be a five-minute watch and let them keep playing, but I turned out to be a hostage of those little demons.

When I finally got downstairs they were already at the end of the meeting, but when Jensen's lawyer, Bobby, saw me he gave me a warm smile.

"So... Any evidence that we don't have in our possession yet?" — The other man in the gray suit asked, making me look at Jensen and asking for some silence permission.

We've been talking about the pictures that I still have on my phone of the night that Jensen got here full of bruises. He never mentioned them to his lawyers, and I didn't want to say something that he might not like me to.

Yesterday I finally convinced him to show them the pictures because they might help a lot in winning the case and Jensen finally agreed.

"Actually... we have some pictures of what Danneel's hands are capable of doing." — I hand him my phone, so he could be the one to show them, and when he finally turned the screen in the direction of the lawyers, all they did was gasp at the view in front of them. Probably too shocked to know that this woman still has a child with her at the moment and that she can hurt her in the process.

"I think you just got us the winning evidence... Claire, I don't know why you took those pictures, but you are a genius." — I had to smile at his words because it's not every day that someone say that I'm a genius, so I might feel a little proud of myself.

"Really? I took them because at the time, Jay mentioned that he wanted to divorce her and asked me to take them. He probably thought that if things got messy, we had enough evidence to make this all thing a lot easier." — I grabbed the phone back from their hands and looked at Jensen, who was finally taking a deep breath.

"You didn't just get enough evidence to the divorce... you got evidence to give Jensen's Justice's full custody, Claire. Thank you!" — Finally something good came out of this whole thing and that horrible night when Jensen showed up in this house so heartbroken it turned out to have something positive in the middle of it.

"So... I'll send them to you right away, and it's done. Tomorrow we will win this trial and I will finally have my daughter back, once and for all." — Jensen finally spoke, which made all the others in the room turn to look at him with a smile on our faces, because it's the first time that Jensen said something really positive about this trial. Hearing him saying that he wants this done so he can have Justice's back is enough to give us the bust to go and fight alongside with him.

He will have his daughter back, and I will help him in every step of the way, just like I promised him I would.
