Hate at First Sight

Chapter 10

Lea's P.O.V.

"Hey Lea," she smiled.

Hey Lea? HEY LEA?! She is cuddling with my crush and she has the guts to smile?!

I looked at her and then at David and back again at Alice.

I looked at Jason. "Can we go? Please? I can't be here.." I whispered to him. Jason nodded and he grabbed my hand in his. I walked towards the front door and looked back to Alice and David with hurt in my eyes. Tears started to fill my eyes.

Once outside Jason engulfed me in a hug and I cried into his chest like a baby. He rubbed my back a little to calm me down.
I calmed down after a while and pulled away from the hug. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean to act like that, but just seeing those two together hurts," I said and wiped away the tears. I looked at his shirt and saw there was a wet, black stain. "Oh damn it, I'm so sorry, I made your shirt wet," I sniffed. He waved it off, "Lea, don't worry it about it now. I'm worried about you though. So, from what you've told me, that was your twin sister, Alice, with the guy you used to have a crush on, David. Am I right?" Jason asked. I nodded.

He paused. "Tell you what. How about you go home with me and spend the night if you'd like? We can do a Disney marathon?" He suggested. I smiled. "That'd be great, thank you. I just have to get my things, if that's okay," I said. "That's fine, I'll wait here," he said with a smile. I couldn't resist so I gave him a peck on the cheek.

I went inside and rushed upstairs ignoring Alice and David. I packed my bag with my PJs and an outfit for school for tomorrow.

I went back downstairs and saw Alice talking to Jason. "Oh hell to the no! Alice! Step away from him please!! You are not stealing him from me too!" I shouted.

"Too?' What are you talking about?!"

"Oh don't play dumb with me! How could you hurt me like that?! First you come into my family, that's fine! I thought it'd be amazing to have a twin sister! But I will never forgive you for the fact that you stole my crush from me and that you took my friends away from me!"

"What are you saying?! I never did any of that!"

"You're cuddling with David! My friends texted me last night saying that they absolutely love you! And you have the guts to tell me that you never done any of that?! Funny, Alice. I bid you goodbye. You won't ever see me again," I said and with that I walked away.

I wiped the falling tears away and felt a pair of arms around my waist and lips against mine. I saw glasses and knew it was Jason so I kissed him back and wrapped my arms around his neck. And in that moment it felt like we were the only ones on this planet.
