Lea's P.O.V.:

I went to see Ben with Alice, but I wasn't really there with my thoughts. That question was still floating in my mind: What do the people here really think of me?

After we visited Ben an idea popped into my mind.

"Alice, I have an idea!" I shouted.

"What?" She asked.

"Ben knows I'm going horseback riding this afternoon. What if you go instead of me. You practised riding, didn't you?" I asked.

She nodded, "Yeah I did, why?" she asked.

"Why don't you go in my place? I mean we—" But then I remembered something Ben said to me over the phone. I shook my head. "No, never mind," I said and kept walking. "I'll talk you up for him," I said.

"Thanks, Lee, I'll return the favour for you if you ever need my help," she said. I just nodded.

We said our goodbyes and I went to the stable. I didn't see Ben yet so I decided to wait for him. Minutes later I got a text from him:

Hey, Lea. I won't be able to make it, I'm sorry.

Great. I left the stable and walked to the park. I went to the top of a hill and laid down. Why am I not going to see Ed, you ask? Because me and him got into a fight a few weeks ago.

~A Few Weeks Ago~

"You're so stupid, Lea! How would you even think that?!" Ed shouted. Did he just call me stupid? Oh hell to the no.

"You had your tongue down her throat! How can I not think that!?" I yelled back.

"You look exactly the same to me!"

"She was blonde! Last time I checked I have brown hair! Why can't you just admit it to me!?"

"Why do you think it was me who kissed Lindsey!?"

"I could see your face, Ed! Stop lying to me!"

"I'm not lying and I never kissed one of your best friends!!"

I ran my fingers through my hair in frustration. "Jesus Christ Ed!"

He growled, picked up a vase and slammed it against the wall, causing me to jump a little. Now I was scared.

"Maybe we should take a break!" he said finally.

I froze. "Are you breaking up with me?" I asked with tears in my eyes. He didn't say anything. On that note I grabbed my bag and looked at him one last time. I'll never forget the fury in his eyes. I bit down on my lip and left his house.

~Present Day~

Well. Now you know.

I felt rain pouring down on my skin. I sighed. I lied to Alice about me and Ed being fine. I didn't want to overwhelm her with it. I decided to wait.

I got up from my place and made my way home.
