Alice's P.O.V
I fell asleep beside my twin and I felt okay again. That piece of me that had been missing all my life wasn't missing anymore. I'm awake now but she's still lying asleep. I get up and rush to the window, curious because I can't hear the usual sound of rain on the rooftops. It's sunny outside for once!
I run back to the bed and jump on it giggling. "Wake up!" I grin collapsing beside Lea .
"Wake up! It's sunny." She opens her eyes and groans. "Do you ever sleep?"
I laugh. "Yes! I fell asleep last night beside you! Remember?"
"Why are you up?"
"Because it's sunny and beautiful and we need to go get ice cream!"
She laughs at me shaking her head as she gets up.
"How about breakfast?"I shrug and grin at her.
"Be a spoil sport then!"
I rush off to get ready and meet her in the kitchen fifteen minutes later.
"I have an idea." Lea beams at me.
"Shoot."
"So how about you live a day in my life?"
I laugh. "Okaaaay. Which means?"
"Have you ever ridden a horse?"I shake my head.
"No but how hard can it be?" She laughs.
"Let's see then."
She pulls me out the door and we walk down our country road towards the stables.
She greets an instructor and tugs me on. She gets two horses ready and I sit waiting, feeling a bit useless.
"Hey Ben?" She calls.
A lad with dark floppy hair and electric blue eyes runs over to the stable where we are.
"Hey Lea. Woah this is your twin I presume?"Lea laughs.
"How'd you know?"
I smile at him.
"I'm Alice!"
"Ben." He smiles holding out his hand for me to shake it.
He pulls open the door and closes it behind him.
"What's up?" He asks Lea.
"Wanna lead Alice? She's a beginner."
He smiles at me now.
"Ah a newbie!"He takes one of the horses and leads it out to a field to our left. Lea follows with the larger one.
Ben stops in the field and grins at me.
" 'Kay you need to swing your leg and make sure you don't kick him."
Another thing you should know about me? I'm miss independent.
"I'm fine thanks. How hard can it be." I walk around the horse but Ben grabs me and pulls me back.
"Don't walk behind them unless you want to be kicked." He laughs.
Lea grins at me.
"How hard can it be?" She laughs, teasing me.Ben gently turns me around and instructs me to hold the saddle.
"Left foot in the stirrup."
The what now?
"Ehm."
He laughs at me and Lea joins in.
"Hey!" I cross my arms over my chest.
"This thing!" He laughs touching the foot thingy.
"Oh.""How about I help you instead." He grins.
"Bend your leg back and I'll hold it. When I say three you're gonna jump using me to boost you up and swing your right leg over the saddle. Don't kick him."
I lift my leg unsure and as he counts I jump, holding the saddle and swing my leg. I'm a cheerleader, I can jump.
"Gently!" He says as I sit into the saddle and hold the reigns.
Lea smiles at me.
"Well that was hard." I groan. They just laugh.
"City girl much?"
