Hate at First Sight

Chapter 12

Lea's P.O.V.:

I frowned when she said that. Wanted? She is wanted!

"Alice, I don't think you realise how wanted you actually are. I mean, my friends like me better than you, David here obviously likes you otherwise he wouldn't be cuddling with you," I said while looking down.

"Why didn't you tell me you had a crush on him?" Alice asked.

I shrugged, "because I wouldn't think you'd care. And David doesn't like me," even if he kissed me in the kitchen. "But, erm, I hope you two will be happy though," I added. I looked at the both of them. "I'm sorry, but I can't be around the two of you just yet. I guess I'll see you two tomorrow," I said and I left without waiting for a reply.

"Lea," Jason said and I looked at him, "do you have any idea how proud I am of you? I mean, you finally told your sister what you told me earlier. I really am proud of you," ans he kissed me. I smiled in the kiss and forgot about everything for a while.

We went to Jason's place. Oh. Yeah. He's 21 and he's a law student. Pretty cool, huh? I think so. And he lives alone.

We went inside and I took a seat on the sofa. Very comfortable. "This is a very comfortable sofa, Jason, where did you get it?" I asked. "Ikea," he said and chuckled. He gave me a cup of tea. I giggled and took it from him.

He put his cup on the table and threw an arm around my shoulder, causing me to lean into his chest.

"You know, I do want to be friends with Alice. I'm sure she doesn't mean it like that, but I just wish she didn't do it in the way that she did," I explained. "Does that even make any sense?" I sighed.

"I know what you mean, babe, and maybe someday you will. You just need time apart and away from her," he said. I nodded. He was right.

"So, what Disney movie do you want to start with?" He asked after a while. I giggled, "how about Mulan? And don't look at me with a funny face, because I can and will quote the entire a movie," I warned him.

He chuckled and put the DVD in the DVD-player. "Popcorn?" He asked and I nodded eagerly. He disappeared into the kitchen.

Five minutes later he came back with a huge bowl of popcorn and plopped down next to me. I snuggled into him again as we watched the movie while I was quoting the entire movie. "Don't you think Mushu is amazing? 'Dishonour! Dishonour on you! Dishonour on your family! Dishonour on your cow!'" I quoted. I'm weird I know.

After Mulan we watched Toy Story. Also an amazing movie. Especially Woody.

A couple of minutes later I could feel my eyes get heavy and they started to close. Soon I found myself fast asleep, thinking about this weird day.
