Satou walked to her new workplace. It was a well-known cafe. Since it was well-known, she knew that there was a lot of money being made there. She smiled to herself. Now she could make enough money to support both her and her beloved. It was nice to think about.

She walked inside and spotted an older woman with deep purple hair that was tied into a ponytail. The woman glanced over at her and smiled gently. "You must be our new employee that's starting today. Satou Matsuzaka, right?" she asked in a polite tone. Satou nodded. The woman clapped her hands together and gave Satou a sweet, closed-eyed smile. "That's wonderful! Why don't you go to the locker room and get changed? I'll gather all the staff once you've finished so I can introduce them to you." she suggested. Satou nodded once more, giving the woman a sweet smile of her own. She walked to the locker room and began changing.

Once she finished, she walked out again. The woman from earlier, who was her manager, called all of her staff to gather around. "Alright, everyone! I'd like to introduce you all to our new employee who's starting her work here today." the manager said, extending her left arm as she presented Satou to all the staff there. "Hello. My name is Satou Matsuzaka, and I hope I can get along with everyone here!" Satou said in a honeyed voice. Everyone stared at her. The female staff began to whisper among themselves, glancing at Satou then back at each other. They all thought she was rather stunning, and made the rest of them look dreary or poor. The manager clapped her hands to cease the whispering and have all attention on her. "Well, now that that's done, you can all begin your work. Take your time in getting to know Matsuzaka-san, but remember to focus on being a good employee as well!" the manager said, turning around and walking to her office. As soon as she was gone, all the staff rushed up to Satou, surrounding her.

"Matsuzaka-san, you're so pretty! Matsuzaka-san, your hair is such a pretty colour! Matsuzaka-san, your eyes are so mysterious, is the colour real?" came the compliments and questions. Satou was used to this kind of attention and answered everyone as much as she could.

Soon, everyone was working hard at their job. Wiping tables, serving customers, cleaning cups and dishes. Satou worked the hardest of all. The staff couldn't help but admire as she did all the tasks that she was required to do. She looked so pretty no matter where she was and what she was doing. There was one boy who had his eye on her far more than anyone else. A boy with dirty blonde hair and dim blue eyes. But Satou didn't notice anything of the sort. She was just fixated on finishing her shift as quick as possible so she could go home to her beloved Y/N.

Although, towards the end of her shift, Satou did notice something. A cold, menacing stare from the manager. But as soon as the manager noticed her looking, her face went back to the kind face of the woman she had met when she first arrived. Did she do something wrong? Well, if she made a mistake, the manager would surely correct it, and not try to hide her disapproval. So what could possibly be the problem? Satou shook her head.  It's not like she actually cared. She was only working so she could earn money for her and her beloved. She didn't care about what anyone thought of her nor what kind of mistakes she made.  Satou finished up her cleaning.

It was already 6pm, the end of her shift. Satou went into the locker room and changed back into her school uniform. There was now a big smile present on her face. Now she could finally go home to Y/N and spend the rest of her time with them! Satou walked out and made her way to the door, forgetting about anyone else around her. But the manager's voice alerted her.

"Matsuzaka-san! Good work today. I hope you'll work like this all throughout your time here." the manager said in a sweet voice. But to Satou, it was rather bittersweet. While her voice sounded kind and gentle, she could hear a small hint of annoyance. But she didn't care. "Thank you, miss. I'll make sure to try my hardest everyday." Satou smiled back. She quickly exited the establishment and walked back to her apartment. Soon, she reach her apartment and unlocked her door, and that angelic voice greeted her like it always did. "Satou-chan! Welcome home!" came Y/N's happy voice, making Satou's heart race ten times faster. How she loved Y/N.

"Y/N-chan!" she exhaled joyfully, embracing Y/N as soon as she saw them. "How was your first day at your new job? I'm sure it must have been tiring." Y/N asked. Satou smiled a genuine smile. Y/N was just so sweet, always worrying about her wellbeing. "No, I'm fine. I'll go and have a bath, and then we'll prepare dinner together." Satou replied, earning a quick nod from her beloved.

Soon, Satou was laughing and having a great time in the kitchen with Y/N. Satou had no idea that even something as mundane as cooking could be so much fun. It was because her beloved Y/N made everything so much more fun than it orginally was. Things were so dreary and dull before Y/N came into her life. She had no idea that she would feel such a sparkling, sweet emotion when she first locked eyes with them. Satou was grateful to Y/N for teaching her about this emotion, which people called love. She has never experienced love, not once in her life.

Satou's parents died when she was very young, leaving her with her aunt. But her aunt was a twisted woman, giving Satou a vision of false love. Of course, the girl never believed her aunt, and tried to find love other than what her aunt had described. And then she met Y/N.

Alone, shivering, out in the rain. The moment Y/N looked up and into Satou's eyes, Satou felt a new sensation course through her body. It felt warm, it sparkled brightly, and it left a sweet taste in her mouth. Satou saw her heart as a jar. There were candies in the jar, and those candies were her love. The more love there was, the more candies filled up the jar. Y/N had filled her love jar, and Satou was determined to fill theirs, too. Now, the both of them were getting ready for bed.

Satou climbed into the bed, lifting the covers so that Y/N could slip in easily. Y/N snuggled closely to Satou, leaning their head against hers. Satou wrapped her arms around their waist and pulled them in closer, securing the warmth that was between them. "Satou-chan..I want it to stay like this forever. I want to just be with you like this forever." came the sudden statement. Satou opened her eyes and looked at Y/N. They had a soft smile on their face. Y/N tightened their grip on the blanket. "You made me forget all the bad things that have happened to me. You made me forget my..'family'. I don't know what I'd do without you, Satou-chan!" they admitted, their eyes glowing under the moonlight, making Satou's own eyes widen slightly. There was a soft hue of blush present on her face as she smiled back at her beloved. "Y/N-chan, I don't know what I'd do without you, either. You gave my life a new meaning. You filled up my love jar! You taught me about this strange yet wonderous emotion..and that is love.." Satou said dreamily. Y/N slowly closed their eyes, and Satou closed hers. Slowly drifting off into a nice, comfortable sleep.
