Her angels, as reward for their help in building Her universe, were allowed to choose one gift each. Some, typically the more self-indulgent kind, picked what they made themselves: the stars, fire, love or beauty, while those who primarily worked on Earth chose the simpler gifts of Her planet. Her Messenger, the Archangel Gabriel, had chosen two for himself: the peacock, and the lavender. One, he must admit, was for its beauty and prestige, while the other hadn't been his idea at all. In fact, he had no inclination to pick the plant until a handful were gifted to him by a small lesser angel with a tempting smile, bees buzzing round their ears, and honey on their fingertips.
As Gabriel watched the little angel before him twist, turn and writhe upon their bed of clouds, his chin rested on his fist, he quietly pondered what dreams She had blessed them with that made them turn so fitfully. Soft, silky hair the color of the clearest night was spread amongst the curves and dips of the cloud, their smooth naked skin as pale as the moon light reflecting off of it. The pretty face, one Gabriel knew and loved so well, was screwed up in terror, their teeth gritted in pain, eyes squeezed shut even in sleep as if the vague images of their dreams frightened them.
Gabriel reached out and slowly drew the little creature into his arms, cradling them like he so often did during these quiet and intimate hours of the night. His neck still vaguely tickled with the feel of their plump lips sliding down his skin, and the thought made his whole body thrum with an electric energy. He blushed a pretty purple as his body stirred, yearning for the touch of his lover despite having been cherished again and again and again that night.
In a moment of weakness he leaned down and stole a kiss from his sleeping lover, gasping softly at the jolt that raced through him. Even now, they didn't fail to make him want them carnally. Gabriel fluttered his eyes open and gazed directly into morning-sky blue, and for a moment felt Her world stand still in awe of the beautiful sight. His lover smiled softly and pulled him in, stealing another kiss, and then another, and then a long kiss that had Gabriel grasping at the base of their wings as they stole his very breath away.
The younger angel pushed him onto his back and climbed on top of his body, sliding their lithe hands down his arms until they grasped his wrists. Gabriel smiled as they held him in place and ravished his mouth, tangling tongues and clicking teeth in their excitement. Their lips were rough and demanding, but he knew he could not deny them this small act of love and adoration. Deep inside his heart, he knew in truth he could not deny them anything.
"Naughty angel, haven't you had your fill? Are you not full yet on my love and touch?" They whispered in his ear, running the tip of their tongue over the shell. He shivered and squirmed underneath them. "Stealing a kiss in my sleep, oh you naughty being.."
"You tempted me into it." He chuckled softly, sliding his hands from their hold and cupping their face gently. They looked at him and smiled slightly, leaning into his touch before sliding forward to place another kiss on his mouth, slipping their tongue between his teeth and lazily teasing at his own.
They sat up and the moon reflected off their soft naked skin. They were beautiful, stunning even, and Gabriel quickly found himself just staring and gawking at them like a fool. They shifted backwards and rolled their hips against him. He groaned and lifted his hips to push them against the little creature teasing him. They laughed.
"I feel you growing hard against me, Messenger. Do you want me that much sweet darling? Do you want me carnally, sinfully?"They hissed at him. Gabriel groaned and nodded, eyes going closed. They shifted and ground their soft prick against his, buzzing petty taunts at him as he grew harder for them.
He grabbed their slim waist and flipped them over, laying his lover against the warm spot left behind on their bed of clouds. The little creature buzzed sweet as a honeybee and writhed against the warmth. "Your place smells of lavender, Messenger."
"And you smell of honey." Gabriel grinned and leaned forward, sinking his teeth into the meaty inside of their thigh, cooing happily at the gasp that escaped their throat. Little hands gripped and pulled at his hair, dragging his mouth up and onto their small length before pushing him down to swallow them whole.
They entangled themselves passionately that night; The air became thick with the perfume of lavender and honey and the sounds Gabriel's little creature made underneath him. Only the stars witnessed their love.
The next morning, Gabriel awoke to another sun, a different sun, and a sinking, wrong feeling in his heart. His bed was cold, his lover gone, and the only scent that lingered was one of lavender and sulfur.
