"find a guy with a jacket and chains." B-12 declared, pointing out our mission. We were working with the outsiders to get to the Outside, and Clementine had told us to find a guy in Midtown. Although the place was a winding maze of neon signs, cool shops and people, it became easy go navigate after a while.

"Jacket and chains. Jacket and chains..." You muttered under your breath, just so you wouldn't forget. But, everywhere you looked, you couldn't find the guy. Except...

"We should check the alleyways." You instructed, to which they agreed. As you all split up, you went over to the alley next to the clothes shop. There stood a robot, leaned against the wall, reading a newspaper.

"Hey, excuse me? Can we talk, if you're not too busy?"

"What do you want?" He snapped as he carefully folded the newspaper, revealing two gleaming gold chains.

"Oh, you're the guy we're looking for! Great!! Clementine wanted us to give you this."

"Us?"

"Me and 2 others. They went off to try and find you but I obviously got to you first."

"Hm. Good thing too. Id love to get to know a human, like you~" he caressed your hair, running it through his fingers.

"Hey! Can we just get on with it, please??" You said, blushing slightly.

"Of course." He read the note, and stood up properly. "Get your little friends to go get me a worker jacket and worker helmet then come back to me. I want to talk to you properly."

You blushed, but obeyed him. It took some walking around the streets, but you finally found them. "Hey! B-12! The guy in the chains, I found him! He wants you and the cat to get him a worker jacket and a worker helmet. But, unfortunately, I can't come with you."

"Why? Is he holding you hostage or something??"

"No no!! Not at all. He just wants to talk to me, don't worry. Now, go and find the jacket and hat. Ill be waiting for you two."

You bid your temporary goodbyes and made your way back to the guy.

"Ah, you're back. Say, I didn't exactly catch your name."

"Y/n. And yours?"

"Blazer."

"A sophisticated name for a guy like you? Well, I wouldn't have guessed."

"I would have said your name was very nice, but put next to that pretty face of yours, I'd say it fits perfectly."

You blushed deeply. Was he flirting with you? Did he do this with Clem, or is it just because you're a human?

"Come on, enough with the cheesy pickup lines. Now what's the plan?"

"Get in there and make it up as a I go along."

"That's a plan and a euphemism. You may be slick, but I'm smart, you know."

He chuckled slightly, knowing what he'd done. "You've just got your head in the gutter. I didn't mean that at all. But... I can if you wish~"

You turned as red as a beet. Quickly, you shut your mouth, as you realised it was open the entire time. He merely chuckled softly again. You were going to say something, but the cat and B-12 came back.

"Thanks, cat. Just turn around for a sec. You don't have to, y/n." He said, jokingly, making you blush again. But, you turned around. Yet, while he had his back to you, you quickly snuck a glance, curious as to why he needed to cover up in the first place. Unfortunately, he caught you and turned slightly red, making you whip around again.

"There. It feels great, if I'm honest. A little snug around the waistline, but it'll do."

"I'll stay here and guard the fort, alright?"

"Yeah, sure just don't get kidnapped or captured by sentinels."

"Awwwh, you care about me?"

"Of course I do, y/n. I don't flirt with people I don't like. Now, we'll be off. And I was serious about the kidnapping bit, ok?"

"Alright, bye then. Be safe."

Hmmm... He likes me? Well, you had to admit, you did have feelings for him slightly, but he was surely joking... Right?
