Momo x reader - Jealous

I never really expected Momo to be the jealous type, so it really put a spin on how I saw him originally. I like it! Enjoy!

"Hey, y/n! You awake yet?" Momo called through the window to your apartment. You grumbled slightly, not realising the time.

"Momo, its 8am. Why are you waking me up at 8 in the morning??"

"Because I want to go somewhere with you today!" He giggled, clearly excited for the day that he had planned.

"Fine. I'll get up."

"I was thinking we could get breakfast when we were there, if thats okay with you?"

"Thats wonderful, Momo. Now, would you mind turning around for a second?" He obeyed as you quickly got dressed and joined him outside. Making your way down to the ground floor, you followed Momo as he wound through many alleys, roads and such. The fact that you didn't know where you were going was scary, slightly, so you asked.

"Its a secret." He said, playfully, as if he were trying to tease you.

You finally reached a clearing, with a little breakfast bar sat in the corner, practically hidden out of sight. It had a small pond, with some reeds and plants sticking out of it. The floor was concrete, with little pieces of carpet and the walls were lined with neon lights, lighting up the whole clearing beautifully.

"Woah. This is really nice, Momo! How'd you find it?"

"I used to come here sometimes, when i was... Well, 'younger'."

"Huh. That's cool. Hey, look! Breakfast!" You cried in delight, scurrying over to it. Behind the counter there was a rusted robot, wearing a cowboy hat.

"Mornin', lil human. What'll it be?"

"Hmm.. I'll go with the... Actually, what do you recommend?"

"Myself~"

"Uh.. maybe I'll just go with the CLOUD pancakes then."

After seeing you get increasing uncomfortable in that situation, Momo sailed over and put his arms around you, pulling you into a hug from behind.
The barman saw this and grunted, looking as though he'd missed his opportunity.

"Here." He mumbled, unceremoniously clanking the plate onto the counter. You said your thanks and walked off with Momo's arm still wrapped over your shoulder. After you two were far enough away, You decided to break the silence.

"So... What was that? Thank you, but what happened there?"

"I-I was merely saving you from an awkward situation, thats all.." he said with a sheepish look on his screen.

"Ohh, I see what's going on. You got jealous, didn't you?"

"What?! N-no!!"

"Yes, you did. You don't usually stutter this much. C'mon, I wouldn't ditch a date with you for anyone."

"I... I love you, y/n." He said, entwining your fingers with his.

"I love you too, Momo." You said, as you kissed him gently. This was the best date ever.
