The door to your room swung open, revealing a very distressed Blazer
"Y/N!! Y/N, YOU GOTTA HELP ME!"
"WHAT, WHATS WRONG?!?"
"My chain broke..." He held up the glistening gold chain in despair. You sighed, expecting him to have lost an arm or something, but you were still relived to see that didn't happen and that he was overreacting.
"Blazer, calm down, it's a chain. Its not the end of the world."
"But I liked it..." He whined. You sighed loudly, thinking of the next possible course of action.
"...do you want me to get it fixed for you?" His eyes lit up instantly and delight spread over his face.
"You can do that??!"
"Yes, I can try."
"Oh, y/n, thank you!" He said, tugging you into a tight hug.
"Alright, I'll get on it right away." You muttered, walking over to to get a coat and shoes on.
"I'll be on the couch if you need me!" You tutted. Blazer was always a lazy sack of circuits, but you still loved him. That also gave you some quality time together. Nonetheless, you had to find a way to fix your boyfriend's chain, so you walked to Clementine's house. You referred to Clem as a good friend, so she'd surely be able to help you out. You knocked on the door and went inside to find Clem in her tent, sat atop the bookshelves.
"Y/n! What a surprise! What can I do for you?"
"Well, I was wondering if I could borrow some of your repair kit? Its for Blazer's Chain. It broke and he got really upset, so he asked me to fix it."
"Of course! It's in my study. One question, why didn't he fix it himself?"
"Not sure, if I'm honest. But, it gives me a job to do. Thanks, by the way!" You went off into the study, noticing the repair box already open, so you got to work. A few adjustments here and some more metal there, until it was finally fixed. One you were finished, you bid Clem goodbye and made your way back to your apartment again.
"Blazer, I'm home." No answer. Only a faint snoring sound from upstairs. He was wrong about the fact that he'll 'be on the couch', but you ignored that fact. You simply put the chain in some paper, folded it up neatly and professionally, went upstairs and put it on his bedside table. Of course, you had to make sure you didn't wake him up, but, once you made it into bed next to him, wrapping your arms around him, he stirred a bit. Luckily, he recognised you, so he pulled you closer and drifted off again. Maybe a little snooze would be fine, just to end the day...
