Haha, 2 stories in 1 night. Pretty neat, if i do say so myself. Well, enjoy!

"Hey, Clem, you okay?"

"Of course I am, I'm with you aren't I?"

"Yeah, but..." You glanced around at your surroundings. The aroma smelled like fresh bread and rich, creamy soup. Somehow, the light from the candle's flame managed to reflect off Clementine's metal, making her look majestic amidst the satin tablecloth. As if she were a queen. She would fit as one too, with her bravery and beauty...

"Don't you think this is a little too... Social for you?"

Clementine's smile faded slightly, making you feel horrible for saying that.

"Well..." She started. "Maybe, it's a bit out of my comfort zone, but I think its a risk well assessed, as it is our anniversary, no?" Soon enough, the smile returned.

"If you're okay with it, I am too. Just know, if you're uncomfortable in any way, we can leave, okay?" She nodded and started up some small talk. All was going smoothly until...

"Ahem. You orders, lady and human?"

"Yes, I'll have the... Uhm... Oh, the (f/f), please."

"Certainly, good-looking~" the waiter mused.

"Hey. They're mine. Back off." Clementine spat coldly, giving the waiter an icy stare. He merely scoffed and asked plainly for her order. Once he'd collected what he needed, he scurried off into the kitchen, leaving you two alone again, the casual hubbub of chatter restarting around you.

"Nevermind you feeling uncomfortable, what about me?" You chuckled nervously.

"Heh, yeah. Are you okay?"

"Yeah. Good thing I've got you, huh?" You giggled, drawing closer to Clem and taking her hand.

"Drinks?"

Oh god, he's back, but with a more sour expression on his face. He unceremoniously placed out drinks on the table with a loud thunk. Whew, we didn't do that much emotional damage, did we? The rest of the night was a breeze, and you two ended up splitting the bill evenly. Soon enough, you two were strolling along the winding paths of Midtown. You'd seen it in the darkness for all of your life, but it was just so beautiful that way. The neon signs illuminated Clementine's face beautifully.

"Clem?"

"Yes, dear?"

"Thank you for tonight. I love you."

"I love you too, y/n"

Leaning in, you two kissed in the light of the night. Nothing could be more perfect.
