I was reading about Hypochondria and good lord, it's interesting. well, not so much for the people that have it, but i hope they recover from it if they do. I'm straying from the original topic, enjoy this little Elliot Story!

Why wasn't he picking up? You'd called the house 3 times already and you knew Nestor went out to get some Groceries. Panicking, you walked back to the apartment, imagining what could've happened with Elliot. Perhaps he's asleep? Focussed on a new code? Whatever it was, you wanted to know.

"El? Hon, I'm home, are you okay?"
No answer, except from small panicked whimpers from upstairs. With a small, pitiful sigh, you walked up, finding Elliot huddled up in a little ball, shaking like a leaf. Hastily, you grabbed your bedsheet and wrapped it around him, all the while whispering some soothing words to him.
"hey, shhhh, calm down, my sweet, it's okay. Y/n's here, I'm here" you breathed, stroking his hand to console him. Poor fellow, what could've been the cause of a panic attack this time? Looking around, you found a little book titled: "The downfall of the humans".
"Plague." You thought. Typical. Just typical.
Over time, Elliot's shaking subdued, and he clambered into your arms, clinging like a koala.
"Thats it, my dear... You paranoid about the ancestors again?"
"Y-yeah... Sorry, y/n... I-I didn't realise that was how they... Passed"
"Well, don't you worry your little head about it. Companions can't contract diseases, you're safe."
Almost shamefully, he nodded and nuzzled into you, the blanket sliding off his shoulders slowly. Hoisting it back up, he wrapped you in it as well.
"I'm glad I have you, y/n... I love you so much..." He whispered, hiding the shakiness in his voice. Holding him close, you smiled and rubbed his back to show you cared for him more than you could say in words. You could stay like this all day...
