"Oh- Oh shit!!" You yelled, the can had slipped out of your hands. After hearing the metallic CLANK, you looked over at your two friends, both as equally scared as you were, yet had the look of annoyance on their screens.

"Oh, good job, Y/n. Now, we're going to get scolded for it."

Staring downwards at the stained white floor, you gathered your thoughts quickly.

"You guys, scram before he gets out. I'll handle it." As they scampered off, Kosma burst out the door.

"Hey!! Y/n!! Again?!! Right, this is the last time, you get down here, before I drag you down!!"

"Yes, Kosma..." You shuffled down the stairs, and stood aside him.

"This is the last straw, you hear? Now, for payback, you are going to help me clean this up, alright?" He scolded, but he softened as he saw a look of guilt on your face. "Hey. It's alright, I'm not that mad at you. In fact, I kinda admire your bravery for taking it on the chin. You came down to help. That matters a lot to me. So, thank you. I'll deal with your friends later." He said, blush covering his cheeks slightly.

You grabbed the bucket and sponge and began scrubbing the floor, feeling less like a failure to your friends.

"I know it was an accident. I heard you swear."

"Oh, yeah... Sorry."

"No worries. You missed a spot." He announced, pointing towards a small patch of white. Once you were finished, you get your stuff. But, when you were about to leave, he grabbed your arm.

"If you ever drop a paint can again, I'll tell you to come down here and clean it up, alright? You do it better than me, so it'll be good for you. Plus, I do enjoy your company a lot, so, if you want, you can always come down and drop by. That sound good?"

You nodded and left, a beaming smile wide on your face, cheeks as red as the guardians robe. What a good day to be alive...
