(Sorry, it's a little bit short, but I think its sweet.)

"No! Awwh, come on!! It was so close!" You yelled at the cent slot machine. The trinket just barely on the edge. That was your last cent and that was going to be the gift to give to your partner, Clementine.

"Hey, don't worry. No need to get so agitated. Who knows? Maybe it'll fall some other time." She said calmly as she quickly but forcefully banged on the glass with her fist. A crash of cents and a toy fell into the metal tray beneath you. You gasped and collected the toy with a wide smile on your face. Nothing, except from Clem, beats the feeling of winning something in a cent slot machine. By the time you'd finished gathered your things, Clem held her hands out, revealing a small pile of cents.

"Clem, you know you probably shouldn't do that..."

"Oh, come on, y/n, you know these things are a scam. You gotta get your money's worth somehow."

"Fine, lets get out of here before we get in trouble. We can keep the cents for ourselves."

After a few minutes, you two left the building, with a gust of wind greeting you to the cool night air. You shivered slightly, but then felt something warm drape over your shoulders.

"Here. I can tell you're cold. Take my scarf, 'cus I hardly need it."

You blushed and thanked her. As you walked through the greenery of the park, you slipped the trinket into her hand, watching her face light up with a slight blush.

"Thanks for the wonderful night, Clem."

"You're welcome, y/n."
