Hoo, boy, this was really nice to make. In case you couldn't already tell, most of my fanfictions have a thing about sleeping. Only shows the very thing I lack hehe... Anyway, enjoy!!

"Seamus, do you know where your father is?"

No response.

"Seamus!!"

A clatter erupted from upstairs.

"What?!!!" He bellowed in frustration, obviously in the middle of something.

"Do you know where your father is??"

"He's probably in the back working on something. Now, don't disturb me again, tonight, ok??!!" A door slammed, and the apartment was plunged into silence. That boy... You shook your head and told yourself to deal with him later. Your first priority was Doc. Your poor workaholic of a boyfriend.

"Ughh," you thought. "Why does he do this to himself? He, of all robots, should know that it's unhealthy for him." You made your way across the room, peering into his bedroom.

Seamus was right, he was there. But, you were right too, he was overworking himself. Some of the wires from his 'hair' had come loose, making it look like he'd been dragged through a hedge backwards, and several cups had the robotic equivalent of coffee inside. He looked as though he hadn't slept in weeks.

"Doc." You said, trying to act all calm, but you accidentally made it sound more stern, so, obviously, he jumped a bit.

"Oh, y-y/n. How nice it is to see you. You know my little thing about coming into my room without knocking."

"Maybe, but I don't go with that rule if you're overworking yourself."

"I'm not overworked! I'm merely finishing up on a project! Theres a big difference, my dear. Now, if you'd excuse me, I have work to do."

He obviously wasn't going to budge on his own, nor with vocal persuasion. So, instead you decided to take a different route.

"H-hey!! Woah! M-my dear, what are you doing??!" He spluttered, as you clambered onto his lap. At this point, you were half surprised at yourself at the fact that the first idea to come to your head was to straddle him.

"I'm not moving until you get some sleep. You can't keep living like this, Doc. I can't have you surviving off your robot coffee and your sheer willpower. You need to sleep."

"Why must I, when work is so important?? I believe that this is much more important than some sleep, dear."

You placed your hands either side of his head, resting them on the headboard of his chair, making the chair lean back a bit.

"Then, I may as well distract you until you give in."

He blushed hard, but finally he spoke.

"Alright... Maybe, a few hours shouldn't hurt..."

"Wonderful." You chimed, getting off him and picking him up.

"Hey, that's not necessary!! I can walk, you know? Put me down, please, y/n!"

You finally placed him down on his bed and took off his labcoat.

"Thank you, my dear..."

"You're most welcome, Doc."

Just as you were walking away, you heard him say something.

"Could you stay? Please, y/n?"

"Of course I can."

You walked over to his bed and climbed inside, feeling the softness of the sheets. You were just getting comfortable, as Doc wrapped his arms around you, already asleep. The poor guy. Sighing with content, you closed your eyes and leaned closer to him, feeling the warmth of his metal chest.

"Goodnight, Doc. Sleep well."
