You had finally done it. You had finally reached the Outside. The cool breeze wafted through your hair and the sun hit your face, making you feel fantastic. Your mission was accomplished...

But your adventure wasn't.

As much as you wanted to stay, you knew there was one thing you had to do and that was getting back to Momo. You felt really bad after leaving him to see this, so as you ventured back to midtown, to visit Clem, of course, you spent the whole time thinking of him.

"Clem?"

"Y/n! You're alright! And you did it! But why are you back here?"

"I have to get back to Momo. I promised him I would come back."

"Well, stay safe, there could still be Zurks in the sewers. Say hello to Zbaltazar for me."

You said your farewell and continued going back. After a small while, you arrived in AntVillage, and found Zbaltazar.

"Y/n, what a pleasure to see you again. Why should you return to here again?"

"I need to get back to the Slums, as i l promised Momo I'd visit, if thats alright. Oh, and Clementine says hi."

"Ah, I'm sure he'd be very happy to see you again. He keeps contacting me in the middle of my meditations. Honestly, it drives me insane. Also, thank you for the little message."

"No problem. Bye, Zbaltazar, stay safe."

The sewers were less scary and dangerous as they used to be, with hardly a zurk in them. The sunlight leaked through the torn pieces of pipe in the roof, giving the whole place a safer atmosphere. As you climbed, you looked up to see the blue sky, giving you determination and hope.

Finally, you opened the door to the Slums to find Doc hanging around.

"Doc! Hey!!"

"Oh, y/n! You're alright! Thats wonderful to see. And you gave us the blue sky! Even better!!"

"Oh it was nothing... Hey, have you seen Momo?"

"Hmm... Theres a possibility that he's at the bar. If he's not there, then he's at his apartment."

"Ok, thank you! Its good to see you again!" You yelled as you ran off, sprinting at full speed to the bar. Ramming into the doorframe, to entered the bar. Darting your eyes around the room, you saw that Momo wasn't there. You apologized to Jacob and the clients for giving them a fright and bolted out the door, making a beeline for the apartment. More climbing later, you finally got to his apartment.

Peering through the window, as you did before, you saw Momo, asleep, next to the window where he left you. Poor guy, he must've waited day for you to come back. You climbed awkwardly through the window, trying not to break any flowerpots and made your way over to him.

"Momo? C'mon, buddy, time to wake up." You nudged him softly, but he merely made a small 'mehhh' noise. In response, you grumbled. It seems as though he wasn't gonna be woken up easily. Admittedly, you were really tired, so you laid down against the wall, wrapped your arms around him and laid your head against his shoulder.

"Y/n...?" He managed to say, as he snaked his arm around your waist and pulled you close.

"Thats right, its me. C'mon, you need to sleep."

"Oh... Right... Goodnight, y/n.. I love you.."

"Goodnight, Momo. I love you too."

That was the best thing you'd heard all day and you knew now that you you could sleep easy in Momo's arms. After all, that's what you deserve.
