ATLAS SIGHED and sat up, getting to his feet. He turned to Thor and held out his hand to help him up. His brother chuckled but accepted the offer nonetheless and gave him a small nod once he had stood up.
"Took you long enough." Atlas made his way over to the bed and sat down. "I was beginning to think you wouldn't show up at all."
"And leave you here by yourself? No chance." Thor replied. "I started to head back as soon as the others told me what had happened."
"The others." Atlas pursed his lips. "Yeah... they suck by the way."
"They're not so bad once you get to know them." Thor reasoned. "I actually like to think of them as little mice—"
"Uh, what?" Atlas' face scrunched.
"Because they're small."
"Oh... right." He grinned as he looked at Thor. "Your thought process never fails to amaze me brother."
Thor smiled and sat down next to Atlas, patting his back. "Thank you."
"But seriously though." Atlas looked around the cell, his smile fading. "They really do suck."
"Atlas..." Thor began. "After what you did back at the base, they didn't really have much of a choice."
Atlas scoffed. "I didn't do anything."
Thor shot him a Really? look. "You almost killed Vision."
"Well..." Atlas scratched the back of his head. "He started it."
"Mhm." Thor raised a brow.
"What!" Atlas defended. "He did!"
"And Wanda? You tried to kill her too."
"Accident."
"Was it though?" Thor asked, the pitch of his voice getting higher along with his eyes squinting ever so slightly.
