"Boo."

The sun rose over Lé Desolé. David and Farouk were physically far away from each other but in their minds, they were closer than ever. And even then, a song rang in their heads.

No one knows what it's like
To be the bad man
To be the sad man

David floated across the dunes, singing.

No one knows what it's like
To be hated, to be fated
To telling only lies

The X-Men were on their way, along with the other mutants. It was time to finish this.

But my dreams, they aren't as empty
As my conscience seems to be
I have hours, only lonely
My love is vengeance that's never free...

Amahl Farouk levitated across the sand, opposite his opponent.

لا أحد يفهم هذا الألم
يشعر بهذا الشعور مثلي
وأنا ألومك
لا أحد يتحكم في نفسه هكذا
غضبه وألمه

ألمي وخوفي
لا يمكن الكشف عنها

No one comprehends this pain
Feels this feeling, like me
And I blame you
No one controls themselves like this
His anger, his pain
My pain and fear
Cannot be revealed

The two floated closer and closer to each other, getting ready for battle.

But my dreams, they aren't as empty
As my conscience seems to be
I have hours, only lonely
My love is vengeance that's never free...

David concentrated hard and used his mind to create an animated form of himself to battle Farouk.

They pulled out swords and began to clash before transforming into warriors. David battling with nunchucks, Farouk keeping the blade.

Then, the two battled as animals, trying to one-up each other with every new power.

Their animations changed, but their minds were set.

Farouk was now a spider, catching David in his web and biting at him.

And then Cyclops pulled up. Scott pressed his visor and the flash of red light formed a beam and his The Choke, which was still fairly close to the duo.

David saw this and smiled, changing into a soldier, and singing once again.

When my fist clenches, crack it open
Before I use it and lose my cool
When I smile, tell me some bad news
Before I laugh and act like a fool
And if I swallow anything evil

Put your finger down my throat
And if I shiver, please give me a blanket
Keep me warm, let me wear your coat

It wasn't long before their powers were completely erased. The giant tuning fork had worked.

The two fell to the ground, tired from fighting. But David wasn't giving up.

"What's he doing?" Peter asked.

"He didn't listen to the plan." Hank responded.

"Storm, do something." Jean protested.
