Mike's pov
It was the winter ball tonight and I was nervous. Will and I were getting ready at my house, we were going together, he was...he was my boyfriend.
"Will come onnn!" I shouted into the bathroom. Will wanted to get ready in separate rooms so I had to wait to see the suit.
"2 seconds!" He called back and finally the door opened. All I could do was stare at him as my jaw hung open.
"Will...you look so good." I mumbled moving closer to him. He blushed and wrapped his hands around my neck,
"Have you seen yourself?" He smirked leaning up and attaching our lips. As we walked downstairs Joyce and my mom were stood at the bottom both with wide smiles on there faces. They didn't know about me and Will, it was...better that way.
"Look at our boys!" Joyce exclaimed rushing over to Will giving him a hug and I watched in awe.
"Okay you two ready to go?" Jonathon called from outside walking in with Nancy. I nodded and looked over at Will who was looking at me and we both made our way to Jonathon's car.
Once we arrived we almost immediately found the others. I looked over at Will, he looked nervous,
"Hey, it'll be fun don't worry!" I softly said and he smiled up at me,
"I love you." I whispered before pulling him with me to the others. We all shared a few dances together and then finally a slow song got put on. Max and Lucas went off to dance together and Dustin also left. I turned towards Will but before I could say anything some girl came over smiling at him.
"Wanna dance?" She asked Will. A disgusted look formed on my face and Will immediately turned to me. I was about to object but then I realized saying no would look suspicious so all I could do was sadly nod and off Will went.
She wrapped her arms around his neck and I felt my hands turn into fists. I watched them the whole dance, I just couldn't take my eyes off him. That was meant to be us dancing but instead he was with a random ass girl. As the song came to an end I patiently waited for Will to come back over and took a seat by one of the tables but...he didn't? When I looked back over I saw the girl pull him back into another dance. I rolled my eyes and slammed the table slightly.
"Calm Mike." I heard Dustin laugh from behind.
"What?" Dustin gestured to my hands and I finally took them out of the fist.
"Have fun with Nancy?" I asked knowing Dustin had a crush on her.
We spent the rest of the next song sat at that table and when Lucas and Max got bored they both came over and sat with us too.
"Who's that Wills with?" Max asked smiling a little as she looked over at them causing Lucas and Dustin to look over and copy her smile.
"Does he like her Mike?" Dustin turned giving me a nudge causing me to role my eyes.
"What? Of course he doesn't!" I snapped before standing up and exiting to the bathroom, this caught Will's attention and he ran after me.
"Hey?" He smiled over to me as I placed water on my face. I ignored him.
"Mike?" He repeated moving closer trying to read my face. I knew it wasn't his fault but he was meant to be my date and he's spent the night dancing with some girl and he doesn't even like girls! I was jealous.
"Will not now." I sighed and he turned, his face dropping.
"What's wrong?" He asked not leaving.
"For fucks sake Will just go back to your lil girlfriend!" I shouted pushing past him. I don't know what came over me and I know I shouldn't have taken it out on Will but I wanted to spend the evening with him.
I sat outside alone for the rest of the night until finally Nancy came out with Will and Jonathan. I forgot that Will was staying over.
"Where'd you disappear to?" Nancy laughed as they approached me, I shrugged my shoulders and moved my eyes towards Will. He was looking at me with a sad expression but once our eyes locked he looked away.
The car ride was painfully silent. Well; for me and Will it was, Nancy and Jonathan were too busy in their conversation to even realize the awkwardness going on behind them. Since it was late Will and I went straight up to my room. I watched as he picked up some pillows off my bed and placed them on the floor.
"Will..." I sighed walking over to pick them back up. He didn't respond though, all he did was sigh back and gently sit on the edge of my bed.
"I didn't mean to snap..." I softly said sitting next to him.
"I get it...you were jealous." He mumbled.
"No...I shouldn't have acted like that I just...I had this whole plan for tonight and then you were just...gone."
"But I was gone for like 10 minutes Mike?" He sighed and I nodded.
"I know, I over reacted it's just...we can't exactly do that you know and I just..." Will reached over and put his hand onto mine causing me to look over,
"I'm your boyfriend Mike, and I love you so please just instead of shouting next time please just talk to me or something." I nodded.
"I'm sorry..." I whispered, "And I love you." I added on resting my head on Will's shoulder.
