"Where are we going?" Will giggled as Mike pulled him out of Jonathans car.
"Just wait 2 seconds." Mike said softly guiding Will across the path. Will was blindfolded, Mike wanted to give him a "birthday surprise" so to him, this was the only way to do so.
"Okay." Mike whispered into Will's ear before undoing the blindfold and pulling it off.
"Rink-o-Mania?" Will questioned looking over at Mike.
"Well you said you wanted to come here so here we are!" He smiled at Will, causing him to laugh and smiled back.
"Thank you Mike." Will looked up at Mike and stood on his tiptoes planting a soft kiss on his cheek.
"Let's go." Mike whispered intertwining his and Will's hand.
Once they entered they immediately went to get their skates.
"Shit I forgot socks." Mike groaned causing Will to laugh,
"How the hell did you forget that?" Mike continued to groan and Will gave his hand a squeeze.
"They sell them at the counter don't worry." Will reassured smiling up at his boyfriend causing Mike to let out a relieved sigh - he really thought he had already messed up the day. Mike came back with a giant smile across his face.
"What?" Will laughed,
"So I asked for vomit green and...I got vomit green!" Mike smiled proudly waving them in Will's face.
"Ew stopp-" Will groaned pushing the socks away from his face.
When they were both ready the walked over to the rink. Mike stopped before they had a chance to step onto it,
"Can I be honest, I've never done this before."
"You haven't?? Oh gosh." Will laughed as he pulled Mike onto the rink only causing Mike to wobble and stumble. Once they started skating Mikes grip on Will's hand did not get any looser.
"Ahh, I'm so bad at this - I'm like a baby on ice I swear!" Will looked up at him with a smile,
"Don't worry, you're doing amazing." This only caused Mike to blush,
"Okay." He said softly in his Will voice. (Please tell me you know what I mean by that)
After around half an hour of skating around they both decided it was time for food. Mike had improved already at his skating but still refused to try without holding Will's hand.
"I can't believe you got such a basic shake." Mike laughed as he took a sip of Will's strawberry milkshake.
"If it's so basic then why do you keep drinking it hmm?" Will teased pulling the straw towards himself. Mike gave Will a wink before taking a mouthful of fries. Will soon copied and the pair got lost in conversation. Their hands collided as they both went to grab fries at the same time. Will looked over at Mike and blushed causing me to give him a fond look,
"Happy birthday babe." He softly said which only caused Will to smile even wider and just like that a waiter came over with a cake.
"Happy birthday!" She gave them both a kind smile before walking off back to the kitchen.
"Mike-" Will gasped in awe.
"Make a wish then!" Mike smiled, Will knew exactly what he was going to wish for.
"I love you." Will exclaimed once he finished blowing out the candles. Mike couldn't help but smile like an idiot.
"And I love you Will."
