Mike's pov
It was a tradition for the party to spend Christmas eve together and this year the party had expanded massively - I mean even Murray was here and to say things were weird was an understatement. I mean everyone was whispering to each other...small glances at me then at Will, it was awkward, really awkward. I knew Will had noticed it too. We watched Max and El say something to each other, look at us and giggle.
"Do you think they know?" Will whispered a small hint of panic in his voice.
"I mean...maybe but I don't think so..." I muttered back. We wanted to be the ones to tell them about us.
"Just don't worry, it's probably nothing." I turned to give Will a small smile before giving his hand a small squeeze.
"Hey Will, could you give me a hand in the kitchen?" Joyce smirked to her son. Will nodded and walked off towards the kitchen while the rest of us made our way to the table that Will and I had set up earlier. I noticed people beginning to whisper again. Small glances in my direction and then the kitchen. I turned to Max who was sat to my left,
"Max." I mumbled causing her to turn away from Lucas, she gave me a nod allowing me to continue,
"Why is-" I got interrupted by a shout from the kitchen,
"Mike can you help with the plates," Murray's voice called me. I let out a small groan and mumbled a 'nevermind' to Max. I reached the kitchen door just as Will was walking out. He had some glasses in his hands and stopped for a second as we smiled at each other then we both continued on.
"Wait!" Eleven shouted causing me to jump slightly and look back.
"Mistletoe." She pointed above mine and Will's head. Everyone had a big smirk on there face.
"Oh um..." Will muttered causing me to give him a small smile. This was awkward and we've never kissed in front of anyone - ever.
I started to lean down and placed my hand softly on Will's face as he began leading up and soon our lips met. It was only quick but it still filled my stomach with butterflies even though we've kissed hundreds of times.
The room filled with awes and as I opened my eyes I saw Will's face covered in a deep red blush causing me to giggle.
"Is now a good time to tell them?" I laughed,
"Tell us what?" Joyce asked from behind us, once again making me jump.
Everyone's eyes were on us. Will gave me a nod of approval and I cleared my throat,
"Well...we're dating." Everyone looked at one another then back at us in shock.
"Surprise!" Will giggled causing me to smile.

I meant to post it but I've been busy but I HOPE YOU ALL HAD AN AMAZING CHRISTMAS
I'mma do a new year story next - hopefully soon BUT HAPPY NEW YEAR HOPE YOU ALL HAVE A GREAT 2023!!!!
