Noah's pov
"Happy birthday No," Finn whispered placing a soft gentle kiss onto my lips as I rolled over to face him. A large grin appeared on my face as I opened my eyes.
"Thank you." I softly spoke my voice lower than usual. Finn practically jumped up out of bed and reached his hand out,
"Come onnn," He groaned acting like I had no just woken up.
"Finn-"
"I made you breakfast." He pouted causing me to roll my eyes,
"Better be good." I mumbled placing my hand in his and let him pull me into the kitchen. Finn dropped my hands and rushed over to the counter and turned back to face me - this time with a plate full of food. Pancakes. But not just any pancake, they were covered in strawberries, Nutella and whipped cream with a side of vanilla ice cream - my favorite.
"Finn!" I gasped as he placed the plate onto the table. I rushed over and took a large bite out of the pancakes. They were warm and fluffy - the best type of pancake you could eat. I couldn't help but let out small groans and moans as I stuffed my face.
"They were perfect," My eyes finally moved off of my plate and to Finn. He had a small smile on his face and he began to move closer.
"Come here..." He laughed placing his hands on my face and wiping his thumb softly onto my lips wiping the whipped cream away. I felt myself blush but couldn't help smile up at Finn.
"What time are we meeting Chloe?" I asked looking up back down, this time at my phone to check the time.
"I think we said 1?" He questioned himself causing me to groan,
"You think??" Finn only laughed before shrugging,
"Don't worry about it (was so close to putting dont worry darling-)" Finn leant down and placed his lips onto mine one more time before telling me to go get ready.
---Time skip---
"Happy birthday!!" I called over to Chloe as I rushed to pull her in for a hug.
"Happy birthday!" She laughed pulling away and going over to Finn to give him a hug so I turned to her boyfriend and greeted him.
We all took our seats at the table and soon the waiter came over. After lunch with my sister Finn and I took a slow stroll back to our apartment.
"Time for my present," Finn smiled walking out of the room, shortly returning with a small box in his hands. He wasn't about to...
"Shit- No I'm not proposing!" He panicked, seeing the look on my face. I felt a sigh of relief - I mean as much as I love Finn we had only been together for a year and in my opinion that was too soon.
"It's a promise ring," He gave me a small smile as he opened the box causing me to gasp.
"Finn..." I trailed off gob smacked at the ring. It was beautiful.
"I just want you to know that I'm always here and-" I cut him off by slamming my lips onto his.
"I love you." I mumbled against his lips as I finally pulled away. A large smile appeared on his lips,
"So you like it?" He asked shyly causing me to let out a small laugh,
"I love it Finn."
We spent the rest of the day at home, we watched all my favorite movies and then Finn cooked us dinner. Finn went for a shower leaving me to watch tv alone. I couldn't help but stare at the ring that was now on my hand.
"Noah can you come here!" I heard Finn shout from the bedroom. My eyebrows furrowed in confusion but I paused the tv and made my way to the bedroom nevertheless.
"What's u-" I started to ask as I opened the bedroom door only to freeze. Their were rose petals across the floor and on the bed, candle lights lit the room and as I turned to Finn I noticed he was in a button up shirt and a pair of black trousers. He knew I loved it when he dressed up - it was hot.
"Happy birthday." He whispered, his raspy voice turning me on as he walked towards me and attached our lips.
I think you can imagine what we did that night and it was perfect - full of love.
Best birthday ever.
