So Close Yet So Far (ON HOLD)

Chapter 10

We bid farewell to both of our families after the wedding reception.

We are heading straight ahead to our honeymoon.

I am really curious what awaits us for this honeymoon because we actually didn't get a chance to talk about where do we plan to go for our honeymoon.

Ang aming mga magulang ay inaasahan na kami ang pipili ng lugar para sa aming honeymoon.

But since Hugo and I doesn't have a connection and we don't have each others contacts, and we also didn't try to contact each other so I have no idea where we are heading.

But I heard from Tita celeste that she is actually the one who planned the honeymoon trip as her wedding gift and  Hugo already know where are we headed kase sinabi ata ni Tita kung saan kami papunta.

I am just waiting for him to tell me where is our destination.

We are now currently in a private jet, heading to wherever his mother settled the honeymoon.

We are not even bothering to talk to each other, tahimik lang kami at may kanya kanyang ginagawa.

Hindi kami mukhang bagong kasal.

But at some point It is understandable because we just got married and it's for business purposes.

What do I even expect.

For us to act sweetly and clingy? That's just not how it works given the reason of the marriage.

"Where are we going?"

Hindi ko napigilan magtanong dahil sa katahimikan na namamagitan sa amin.

We are sitting next to each other, pero we still have a big barrier between us because the designer of this plane made it like that.

I was watching the tv in front of me.

At nagnanakaw ako sa kanya paminsan minsan ng tingin upang tingnan ang ginagawa nito.

He is reading some papers, probably work related.

"In our province." He said.

So this is where her mother set our honeymoon.

That's kind of different on what I expected.

I thought we are heading putside the country.

"I hope you dont mind. Ako na ang pumili ng lugar for our honeymoon." pagpapatuloy nito

Akala ko ang mama niya ang nag so siya pala?

"I thought your mom already set a itinerary for us?" Tanong ko.

"Yes but she did that without consulting me, I already planned one by myself." Mahina nitong sabi.

Natahimik ako dahil napapaisip ako, so he choose his plan over his mother's gift.

"Why? You something else in mind?" Anya at tuloyan ng tumingin sa akin.

He probably noticed my silence.

Agad akong umiling, I don't want him to think that I didn't like what he did.

"No! I am fine with anything."

I am also curious why he choose his province out of all places.

"If you want, we can have a second honeymoon after this. If you won't like this one." Dagdag nito.

My heart flutters as he muttered the word our honeymoon.

And second honeymoon? Is he planning to have a second one?
