Chapter 33

I can feel my whole body shake. I don't know if it's because of anger or pain.

Is she really pregnant?

It's not my fault, I didn't know. She attacked me first. If only I knew then that fight could've ended differently.

Hindi ako mapalagay kaya I told Brianna that we should follow Gwendolyn to the hospital.

No natter how much I tell to myself that it is really not my fault, I still feel really guilty.

We sat outside the hospital room, hindi ko kayang pumasok. I am scared, natatakot ako sa pwedeng sabihin ng doctor.

"Dapat hinayaan na natin siya dito!" Inis na sabi ni Brianna sa aking tabi.

"It's my fault kaya I have to be here." Sabi ko. I am guilty.

"It's not your fault, she is the one who attacked you kaya bakit mo kasalanan?"

Naramdaman ko ang pagtulo ng aking luha.

"What if-, what if I harmed the baby?" I anxiously said.

"Hindi, she didn't bleed so I doubt it. Don't overthink Priscilla wala kang kasalanan rito ok?" She said.

She indeed didn't bleed but her screams still lingers in my head.

Kami lang ang andito para kay Gwendolyn. We don't know if the hospital have contacted any of her family.

I also wonder why I wanted to be here. I hate her, she is the one who's ruining my marriage kaya dapat hayaan ko siya but my conscience won't let me, dahil may pananagutan rin ako rito.

"I'll just go to the canteen para kumuha ng tubig, you need to drink you are probably dehydrated." Sabi ni Brianna.

Hindi ko siya masagot dahil nanatili akong tulala.  

I can see in my peripheral version that Brianna walked to the right side of the hallway.

Napatingin ako sa kabilang gilid ng may napansin akong naglalakad.

There he is, mabilis siyang naglalakad at ang bawat hakbang nito ay mabibigat.

He looked really worried and angry at the same time. Bigla akong ginapangan ng kaba dahil sa nakikita kong reaksyon sa mga mata nito.

Who called him? Gwen?. Siguro nasabi na rin ni Gwen ang nangyari sa pagitan namin and I am very sure that she told him her side of the story, her side only.

"What did you do." May diin ang bawat bitaw niya ng kanyang salita.

Right! of course he will be here, he's probably the person whom the hospital called.

Gusto kong magalit sa kanya dahil sa pinapakita niyang galit sa akin.

Nanatili akong tahimik. Wala akong mailabas na salita, because I am also at fault here.

"You could've harmed her." Sabi niya.

I could clearly see that he is very concerned about her.

"Hindi ko sinasadya." Naiiyak kong sabi.

Nagtama ang mga mata namin at galit ang nakikita ko sa mga mata nito. Yumuko ako para hindi ko makita ang galit nitong mukha.

"Hindi hahantong ito sa ganto kung hindi mo sinasadya!" Malakas nitong sabi.

Gustong gusto kong magalit sa kanya dahil kinakampihan niya si Gwendolyn. Nasaktan din naman ako. Ako ang sinugod niya, lumaban lang ako para ipagtanggol ang sarili ko.

"Alam mo ba kung anong mangyayari ngayun dahil sa ginawa mo!? This changes a lot of things now!" Sabi niya.

Napatingin ako dahil sa sinabi niya. I don't know what he means. What will change?
