So Close Yet So Far (ON HOLD)

Chapter 11

Our one week trip in Hugo's province is cut short because of his busy schedule. Kaya kinailangan namin umuwi dahil sa dami ng kanyang kailangan gawin.

We didn't do much on our stay, pinasyal niya lang ako sa kaniyang kinalakihan na lugar.

Sometimes ang kasama ko pa ay ang mga trabahante nila dahil amy ginagawa itong iba.

But those three days na magkasama kami even though it's short nagkaroon kami ng pagkakatoon para makilala namin ang isa't isa kahit papano.

I found out that he doesn't like coffee that much and he prefer to have a proper meal on breakfast rather than coffee.

Napansin ko ito tuwing umaga, I always go for orange juice and pastries first in the morning and sometimes I skip breakfast meal because I usually don't feel like eating in the morning.

Pero dahil lagi kami sabay ay hindi ko maiwasan na kumain na rin upang sabayan siya.

We are now living in his house, the first time I got here I was mesmerized with the design. The house is huge and pleasant in the eyes, it has some unique feature that is new to me.

And my husband happened to be the one who designed it, he has an impeccable talent.

It's been five months since we got here, we got closer but not so close. We don't share the same bed, he thinks that I need my personal space. He gave me the biggest room in the house which is his room before I got here.

Lagi niya akong inuuna sa lahat ng bagay, he always ask for my opinion and permission. He never failed to let me know that I have my rights to have my own decision in this relationship of ours.

The inhouse helpers left a month ago dahil sa kagustohan namin dalawa but mainly me. I told my parents that how can I be a wife when I can't act like a wife to my husband because the helpers are doing the work.

I somehow learnt to cook after five months of living together gabi gabi ako nag aaral magluto pagka uwi sa school para pag dumating ang panahon na matuto ako pwede ko na siyang ipaghain.

But after all that practice I can only do instant food, I am graduating in college kaya hindi ko ito masyadong mapagtuonan ng pansin.

But somehow I have succeeded, I know now how to cook but the basics only. He does the cooking most of the time, and I am more than thankful that he never complained.

He fulfilled his promise to be a good husband wala na akong ibang nanaisin pa.

Inaayus ko kasalukoyan ang kanyang sosoutin sa araw na ito para sa kanyang trabaho I always choose his outfit for the day. Lagi akong pumapasok sa walk in closet niya para mang gulo and thankfully he always let me.

I love pairing his suits, he has all kinds of suits and he has almost all of the colors except the bright ones.

I love shopping him a tie, it's my favorite part of his outfit. every time I go shopping lagi akong may binibili para sa kanya it's either clothes or some other unnecessary things.

"Is it ready?" Biglaang tanong ng asawa ko na galling sa banyo.

"Yup. change fast so that I could do your tie." sagot ko tsaka lumabas sa walk in closet niya to give him some privacy that he needed, I sat on his bed and waited for him to finish changing.

After awhile lumabas siya hawak hawak ang tie na napili ko. lumapit ako sa kanya para ako na ang mag ayus nito.

Doing his tie has become one of my wife duty, I love doing his tie I even asked my mom to teach me how to do it.

My mom is usually the one who does my dads tie kaya naman naka pag desisyon ako na dapat ganun din ako sa aking asawa.

"There, all done." I said when I finished and gave him a smile.
