Chapter 2

Dianna welcomed us with a warm hug. We then gave each other compliments for being extra tonight.

I can see with my peripheral vision that Rhys is staring at me. I looked at him and caught him looking at me intimately.

I smiled at him, he then walked to my direction and held my hand and kissed the back of my hands, I can't help myself but blush.

"You look breathtakingly beautiful, you can light up any room" he whispered in my ears. I've been complimented for how I look tonight but his words is my favorite.

Nagsimula na ang tugtugan hudyat na pwede na mag sayaw sa entablado ang mga panauhin. Rhys stared at me for awhile and offered his hand in front of me.

I could see anticipation in his eyes.

"Can I be your first dance for tonight" ngumiti ako sakanya.

I held his hand as an answer. He smiled at me back and we walked to the dance floor.

The music is slow and soothing. Sumayaw kami na para bang kami lang ang taong sumasayaw sa entablado.

I was looking at him in the eyes, I've been looking forward to this. Me and him in the middle of a dance floor dancing and staring at each other's eyes.

I have formed a slight crush on Rhys. He was the first guy that caught my attention when I saw him in our campus and to my surprise he is the bother of Diana.

He was smiling at me as we swayed our body to the music.

Pero naging malikot ang mata ko at napatingin ako sa likod niya. I saw the guy, The young Lardizabal.

I wonder if he's the one that my friends was referring to just a while ago.

If he is then all the words that my friends were saying is all true.

He is surrounded by many people but your eyes will definitely divert to him because of his dominant looks that he is serving.

His serious and unmoved faced make him look like he is dominating the place, you could easily pin that he is not like the others.

I saw him talking to a familiar and very beautiful lady. She has a long straight brown hair, I could tell that she is tall but the young Lardizabal makes her look shorter dahil sa tangkad nito. Mukhang kaedaran niya rin ito.

I can clearly see how he stares at the lady's eyes as if she is the most precious thing in the whole universe.

Although he looks serious and unmoved you could tell that there is something different base on the way he looks at her.

Muli kung binalik ang mga mata ko sa aking kasayaw nang magsalita ito.

Ang tanging nagawa ko nalang ay tumango sa sinabi nito kahit wala naman akong naintindihan sa sinabi nito.

Kalaunan ay muli kung nabalik ang aking mga mata sa direksyon kung nasaan ang dalawa.

He was just listening as the girl talked, tumango tango ito sa kung ano man ang sinasabi ng babae. He looked interested on what the girl is talking about.

The girl offers her hand as she gave him a sweet smile. I saw how he held the girls hand, mukhang sasayaw din sila. Napawi ang tingin ko sa kanila ng pukawin ni Rhys ang aking atensyon.

"Priscilla, are you okay?"

I smiled at him as an assurance

"Oo naman, what made you think I'm not" sabi ko at marahang tumawa

He gave a weird look but moved on afterwards like he is confused or something.

I didn't bother to look again in the direction of the young lardizabal.
