WHEN STILES WOKE UP the next morning, he felt different. He couldn't explain it, he couldn't identify what it was that just felt off, but it was there. Maybe he was just stressed about the whole Ghost Riders thing and it was messing up his head a little. Or maybe he was just feeling weird about the fact the end of senior year was approaching.
So he got out of bed that morning, shaking off the weird feeling that clogged his mind, got ready for school, got in the Jeep, and drove to school.
Now, the Stilinski boy stood at the end of the high school hallway, staring ahead at all the students walking around, talking and laughing, as if he was in some sort of trance as he stood there alone.
He couldn't shake the feeling that he was supposed to do something.
But he couldn't remember what.
But what snapped him out of that trance was the scent of strawberry-scented lipgloss filling his senses, as a soft, plump pair of lips pressed themselves to his.
Stiles smiled into the kiss, snapping out of his weird mood he'd been in since he woke up. As his girlfriend pulled away, he smiled at her, starting to feel better.
"Morning," Lydia Martin greeted him, her soft, green eyes piercing his hazel ones.
"Hey," Stiles replied, adjusting his backpack, still smiling softly.
"You alright?" his girlfriend asked him, twirling a strand of strawberry blonde hair around her finger, "You looked like you sort of... went somewhere else for a second there."
"It's nothing," Stiles smiled, "I just—" he cut himself off, letting out a soft sigh, wondering if he should talk about his weird feeling.
"What is it?" Lydia asked, taking his hand in hers softly, "You can talk to me, babe."
The hazel-eyed boy pursed his lips, running a hand through his short, brown hair. "I just had this weird feeling when I woke up this morning, like— like there's something I was supposed to do, but I can't remember what."
"You handed in your book report, didn't you?" Lydia asked with furrowed brows, wondering if that was what he was talking about.
Stiles sighed again, "Shoot— I forgot, that must've been it." he said to the strawberry blonde, leaning forward and giving her a chaste kiss on the cheek, "I'm gonna go do that now, I'll catch up with you later?"
