NEEDING ALL THE ALLIES THEY COULD GET, Malia and Isaac took the lead on trying to convince Peter to fight with them against the hunters. If anyone was going to convince the heartless Peter Hale to do something for the good of everyone—it was his daughter.

It hadn't gone that well, which was made evident to Aspen, Scott and Stiles who had been waiting in the McCall living room for the couple to get back and fill them in. All they had gathered was Malia let Peter go inside her head to show him the anukite, Peter got spooked and angry with her, and left with his 'stupid car'.

Scott let out a sigh of defeat as he paced his living room, Malia and Isaac stood by the door, Aspen and Stiles still sat at the table.

"Scott—there's something else we can try..." Malia said a little uneasily, looking up at Isaac who seemed to be signalling for her to go on, "But you're not gonna like it."

"What?" Scott asked, turning around, as Aspen and Stiles also looked over at the pair with intrigue.

"There's another pack of Werewolves we know about." Malia sighed, referring to her and Isaac. "They gave up everything that makes them human—rules, morals, electricity."

"They sound like the Amish community..." Aspen murmured under her breath.

Scott nodded, the premise sounding familiar to him, "Yeah, yeah, yeah. I've heard of this pack. They call themselves 'the Primal'. Their pack symbol is a circle with a crescent on top?"

"They're strong." said Isaac with a shrug.

"They're not only strong—" Scott replied, "they'll kill anything that crosses their path."

"Scott, we wanted the old Deucalion back," Aspen piped up, "Can this pack really be any worse than him? Or— or Peter?"

"I mean, at least I know Deucalion and Peter." Scott argued, not seeming so sure of this plan, "This pack, I-I don't know anything about them."

"Does it matter if they can help us beat Gerard?" said Malia.

"It matters if they're murderers..." Scott murmured hesitantly.

"What, and Gerard and Johnathon aren't?" Aspen argued, raising her brows slightly accusingly at Scott. "I thought we were past this, Scott? People do what they have to to survive— how do we know this pack aren't just big on self defence?"

Aspen recognised that she'd just raised her voice and caused a bit of awkward tension with the mini outburst. It was just that any time Scott said the word 'murderer' in that tone of voice, she felt insecure of what he might think of her deep down. Scott had never taken somebody else's life before, Aspen had.
