Confusion took over you as Jimin handed you the black box he had disappeared for quite some minutes to go fetch and you turned it around, thinking that this was the first time you were seeing a card game with no logo anywhere on the package.

"What kind of game is this supposed to be?" You uttered as you proceeded to open it, only to find inside three decks of cards, each a different colour.

"You really are not a fan of me. Anyone who has seen my works would have recognised it by now." He replied as he proceeded to take his seat on the floor, at the opposite side of the small coffee table that was placed in front of the couch you were occupying.

"You mean you have played this game in a role?"

"Yes, it's a made-up game the writer of that script had made for the sake of the plot. It's called the black whole." Once he mentioned the name, your eyes couldn't help but grow wide for you immediately understood which one was he referring to.

Back in the first movie that had become a hit, on the movie that had started his career on a golden light, there was this scene that had gotten to become so popular back then that it was everywhere. Even if you had not been a fan that would look deliberately for it, you had seen it multiple times.

"Oh My God. I never thought I would be able to get this game in my hands. All my classmates were crazy over it back then." You admitted showing excitement on your face, for despite not being a fan, you used to love how cunning and twisted this game could get.

"Well as you know, I keep souvenirs from the movies I play. And this was what I kept from that one. I have never played it outside of that role but I have always wanted to."

"Same! This is the best idea you had ever had. Let's play." You slipped on the floor so you could be closer to the table and placed the box on it, ready to start however you couldn't help but halt your movements and look at him, realizing that you knew nothing about this game. All you had seen was that scene that most likely was also planned for it was scripted.

"The red deck and the black deck of cards, are the ones we have to draw from. We play with the regular white cards. Whoever wins a round gets to choose from which pile to take a card from. Red or black. Each contains dares of different nature. The winner has the privilege to have the power to pass the dare to the opponent that lost that round if they want to." Jimin filled you in on the regulations, guessing that you most likely had a gap of information for most viewers were drawn by the adrenaline that those scenes derived from the game, had gifted them and rarely did anyone really paid attention to the rules, or knew all the dares that the decks contained. He himself had not checked them all so no matter what you two were to draw, it was to be equally surprising for both.

"This game is known to be full of traps btw so if you don't want to play, we can pass on this and search for something else." He warned you, giving you the chance to think this through just so you wouldn't be blaming him later for his choice.

"How bad could it be? Besides I am certain I won't break Rule Number 1. The one that can eliminate someone immediately." You raised your eyebrows playfully at him, letting him know that at least you remembered that one and he laughed slightly before he left his elbows resting on the table.

"Why does it feel like you are daring me? Do you really think you can get a reaction out of me?" He questioned you, aware that the rule that could get someone immediately out of the game and make them the loser was if the player was to showcase any kind of flustered or irritating reactions. You had to appear nonchalant no matter what in this game for the goal was to play with the opponent's mind as well.

"I wouldn't underestimate me If I were you. Plus as far as I recall, the loser grants a wish to the winner, right? No limits." You started getting the decks out and placing them at the side, pausing slightly to meet his eyes as you finished your sentence.
