Boram had found herself back in the guestroom that Jungkook had allowed her to use however now that she would be staying longer in there, she was left staring at it and contemplating if she was allowed to make some changes around and give that room a bit more of her personal touch.
She had always wanted a cosy bedroom full of her favourite colours and walls with art painted all over them. She had some special tastes and at her own house, she was never allowed to change much of her bedroom because her mother disapproved of her having what she wanted simply because she wanted it. It could spoil her.
Jungkook most likely would find it equally bothersome because if she were to change too many things when the time for her came, she would have to leave, and he would have to remove everything again.
It's okay, even like this, it's a beautiful room. No one will ever know I stepped in here from the moment I empty the closet ... it's better this way.
She convinced herself inwardly even though as always there existed a part of her that wanted to be remembered. When the day came that she would be no more if something could be left behind of her, as proof of her existence wouldn't it be nice? She could convince someone that she lived even though she had yet to truly feel what it's like to live.
The sound of a knock shook her out of her train of thought and she turned around to face the door right before she permitted the one on the other side, to enter.
"Did you finish unpacking?" Jungkook peeked his head through the opening of the door and Boram smiled instantly at him.
"Yes, everything is in place "She approached the door as she spoke and Jungkook opened the door more, now facing each other properly.
"Turn the light on then. Why stay in the dark? It's not like you will be paying the electricity bill" He told her as he reached out his hand and pressed the switch, filling the room with light.
"I should have drawn the curtains, I guess I forgot. Caught up in thoughts. " Boram admitted and Jungkook looked at her with a stern gaze.
"I swear to god, if you were thinking about ways to harm yourself, I am letting you know right now, that such things won't be happening in my house. There are rules you have to follow while living with me "
"Rules? What kind of Rules ?" Boram raised an eyebrow at him, ignoring the fact that once again he had assumed the worst when it came to her.
"Come to the living room. I made a list" He stated before he walked away, and she followed. They both took a seat on the couch once there and Jungkook grabbed the notebook he had left on the table.
" Okay so, I have written a few things that I believe are rational and necessary rules to ensure that neither of us becomes an inconvenience to each other's everyday life "He stated then he proceeded to read some of the things he had noted.
" Don't touch my belongings. Don't enter my room. Don't touch my laundry. Wash the dishes after you eat. Clean after yourself. Don't bring strangers over. Whatever you see or hear in this apartment remains in this apartment. Don't break anything. Don't change anything without my permission. Don't disappear without telling me where you will be going. And most importantly Don't try to kill yourself while in here and also respect my private space aka you can't touch me."
Boram waited patiently for him to finish his list but the more she was listening the more she cracked up.
"What's so funny?"
"Ah, it's just that you sounded like a person with many fears as you were speaking " She admitted as she was still giggling and Jungkook just stared at her sternly, not appreciating the fact that she was making fun of his anxiety.
