Chapter 73

After the incident, DongMin has been keeping a close eye on you as per Jimin's request. He had gone on with his filming, right after you had reassured him that you were okay. Frequent breaks were taken, however, for many reasons, one of them also being that he had to see off his mother after she told him that she would be leaving Jin in his care and he should keep her informed of his health.  Jimin had promised her so with a smile and had requested his manager to accompany his mother outside to her car, while you had gotten visibly more relieved once she was gone and even more after your sister had texted you and told you that she had forgotten her phone at the gym and she was okay.

It felt like you could breathe better after that, so you had thought as a good idea to take this time that you still had to remain there for the filming as an opportunity to organise your thoughts and prepare for the conversation you were going to have with Jin. 

After a while, you concluded that giving him a heads up about the situation before arriving there, would be a good idea and would save you time because you had no excuse to be left alone with Jin for long, nor did you have any way of keeping Jimin away from you, especially after this episode of yours that certainly had made him worry over you. With such thoughts in mind, you had picked up your phone and texted Jin about the fact that Jimin's mother had come over, supposedly looking for him and let him know that you had a lot of things to talk to him about. You also requested that he find a way to make some alone time for you, maybe after everyone around falls asleep, including Jimin, cause that could be the only time you could sneak out of your house and go to InSu's apartment and have a proper talk with Jin.

"If you can get Mila out of my room, then I would have more than enough time for us to talk. She is like a leech! Doesn't leave me alone not even for a second. To not mention that I can't walk to go anywhere far, beyond the bathroom." Jin replied to your texts, making you exhale a deep breath while your feet were tapping rhythmically on the floor, anxiety rushing you to find a solution.

"Pay her, from what I know she liked money." You texted back and waited for a while for his reply. To the point that made you wonder what was taking him so long.

"I just transferred to her 500 bucks! For an hour alone. Are you sure we can't fire her?" You couldn't help but smile a bit at his reply, even though you did find the price expensive as heck, but from what MiOk had told you, Mila doesn't play when it comes to money. 

"At least she agreed, that's something. I will see you around 2 am then." You forwarded that text then you returned your eyes ahead, only to notice that Jimin was looking at you, the scene he was filming most likely having gotten wrapped up, as people once again were moving around quickly, gathering things and murmuring words.

You smiled at him as you pulled the phone away and observed him approach you, right as DongMin stepped up from behind you, making you flinch as you hadn't noticed his presence till that moment. 

"The director said we can go for tonight. We will relocate and finish the rest tomorrow. Including the all-nighter. All the night scenes that are left are scheduled for tomorrow, so I am afraid you will need to sleep well tonight because tomorrow you won't have the chance." DongMin informed Jimin of his schedule, even though he hadn't thrown his eyes his way but was still looking at you with worry in his orbs.

"I see...Y/n if you want, you can take the day off tomorrow. " He offered as he didn't want you to overwork yourself. Things were taking a toll on you, even if you weren't ready to admit it and both he and DongMin were visibly worried about your physical and mental health. You need some rest.

"It's okay. I am really in a good condition. You don't have to think about me." You turned his request down, however, simply because you couldn't afford to not be around if something were to happen. Maybe you could have a chance to awaken P3, that's not something you could afford to miss, not not mention that maybe his mother could try to pull something again.
