(Y/N) informed Holly that Minako asked if she could stay the night and of course, Holly being the sweetheart that she is allowed (Y/N) to stay. (Y/N) was relived to get conformation from Holly because she wasn't sure if Jotaro was supposed to speak for his mom. "Let's get you settled in." Holly said, finishing folding her laundry from the previous load. "Thank you again." (Y/N) said, "I would probably have to sleep in the rain if it wasn't for you.". "No problem." Holly said with a smile on her face. "Is it ok if you sleep in Jotaro's room? We have other rooms available but they are messy and not suitable for guests." Holly said, seemingly unbothered by the fact that she was asking a girl to sleep in her sons room.
(Y/N) felt a blush creep over her face as she said "Sure, if it doesn't bother Jotaro.". "What the hell are you doing!" She thought, "You should've offered to sleep on the couch or something you idiot!". (Y/N) was internally screaming at herself but Holly was oblivious. "Great!" Holly said with a smile on her face. "I'll go tell Jotaro he will have a guest tonight." Holly said and walked away. "Oh my god... what the fuck have I gotten myself into." (Y/N) thought.
After a little while Jotaro came walking into the living room where (Y/N) was sitting, she was still trying to separate the soaked papers from the damp ones. He came from behind her and looked over her shoulder at her books. "Looks like the rain fucked up your books really good huh." Jotaro said, observing the smudged and soggy papers. "Ugh, it sure did." (Y/N) said, "I'm gonna have to go buy more tomorrow and make up some bullshit excuse to get away with not submitting my homework because the teacher probably won't believe that they got destroyed.". Jotaro just nodded in response and headed towards the kitchen, but before he got there he turned over his shoulder and said "You can use mine for today, but that's it.". (Y/N) blushed a little at his kind gesture. "Thanks." She said and turned her attention back towards the books.
She threw away all the destroyed ones but managed to keep a couple that had survived, even if they were a little smudge. She set her bag in a corner near the door for it to dry and went into the kitchen for a snack. Holly was preparing dinner and Jotaro was rummaging through the pantry, probably looking for snacks too.
"(Y/N) dear, can you go with Jotaro to the store to buy some food. Get any snacks you want but could you please bring me back some spices? I ran out and need them for the food." Holly said, back still turned towards the stove. "Yes, Holly-san." (Y/N) said. Jotaro just nodded and headed to the door to go to the store, (Y/N) followed him.
(Y/N) felt a little underdressed considering she was just in a army green oversized T-shirt and black shorts but they were going to the store so she tried not to care. She used to do this all the time in America, but in Japan it was different so she felt a little bit self conscious.
Jotaro and (Y/N) started walking to the store in silence, not really knowing what to say to each other. Jotaro didn't really talk a lot and neither did (Y/N) so it wasn't to weird but (Y/N) still wanted to get to know him, considering that they were going to be in the same room. (Y/N) knew Jotaro didn't really like people taking to him so she didn't try to engage conversation that much, before they knew it they were at the store.
They shopped in silence, only really talking to each other except for simple reasons like "Where is the spice that Holly wants" or "Do you want chips?". They checked out and started walking home when suddenly they saw a girl from their school. "Hey Jojo!" The girl exclaimed walking towards the pair. (Y/N) could feel the girl glare at her because she was walking so close to Jotaro. Before the girl could even get across the street Jotaro grabbed (Y/N)'s arm and ran, dragging her behind him.
(Y/N) almost tripped but caught herself with some water from her stand. Jotaro suddenly turned into a dark alley and stopped running. "What the fuck did you just do?" He asked almost like he was interrogating her. "What?" (Y/N) asked wondering if he had seen her stand. She knew that regular people couldn't see stands so she wondered if Jotaro was a stand user too. "That water... what was that?" Jotaro asked in less of a menacing tone, it was more of a confused one now.
(Y/N) was sure now that Jotaro was a stand user. "So... you could see it. Are you a sta-" before (Y/N) could finish speaking she was cut off by someone grabbing the groceries and her wallet from her hand.
Before she could even bring out her stand she saw a purple muscular figure beat the shit out of the man, suddenly more of them came out of nowhere they were trying to defend their friend from being killed. They were probably some sort of gang because there were about 15 men there and they all got beaten to a pulp by the purple figure.
(Y/N) observed the figure, it had with gold shoulder pads and black gloves with gold knuckle attachments that were similar to the ones (Y/N)'s stand had just not made out of ice. It had a loincloth and long black hair that flowed behind it with a headband keeping hair out of it's face. (Y/N) was sure this was Jotaro's stand but before she could even talk to him Jotaro walked away. He walked out of the alley and got a taxi, (Y/N) ran after him but it was no use. He was gone.
Authors note: This chapter was fun to write, next chapter we begin the events of stardust crusaders! It's gonna be a lot of work to cover everything that happens and more but I hope you guys enjoy this story as much as I love writing it. byeeee <3
