Later at the cafe -
"Oh i'm so glad my Jotaro is safe!" Holly exclaimed hugging Jotaro's arm tightly. "Shut up bitch, you're so damn annoying." Jotaro said trying to wriggle out of his clingy mothers hug. "Hey! How dare you talk to your mother like that!" Joesph said to his grandson with an angry look on his face. (Y/N) giggled a little at the exchange, she then turned to Avdol who was sitting quietly in the chair next to Joesph. "So, what have you been doing for the past couple years?" (Y/N) asked Avdol, curious to hear about his adventures in Egypt. "We'll catch up later. Mr. Joestar has something to inform you all." Avdol said in his usual serious voice. He hadn't changed much since (Y/N) saw him last.
Joesph cleared his voice and pulled out a polaroid picture. "That's a hundred-year-old coffin pulled up from the Atlantic Ocean, off the African coast four years ago." Joesph said pointing at the picture. "Coffin?" Jotaro asked curiously. "After observing this picture, I found out that this is from the boat where my grandfather Jonathan Joestar died in 1987. It was apparently empty when they discovered it, but I know exactly what was inside! Avdol and I are trying to locate him right now." Joesph said seriously. "Why haven't you told me about this jiji?" (Y/N) asked. "We didn't want to worry you." Joesph said. "But-" (Y/N) was cut off by Joesph. "No but's. It's in the past now." Joesph said brushing her off.
"Why do you talk about this thing like it's alive?" Jotaro asked. "This thing is evil incarnate!" Joesph said turning back to the picture,"His name is DIO!". "He has awakened from his hundred-year sleep. It is the Joestar's destiny to fight him!" Joesph exclaimed. Jotaro rolled his eyes and turned towards the window of the cafe. "Don't make that face! You make it look like I'm boring!" Joesph said upset at his grandson's behavior. "This face means, "That was so stupid, I don't know what to say," Jiji." Jotaro said turning back to the old man. "Not you too Jotaro! That girl has gotten to you!" Joesph said mad at (Y/N) and Jotaro. (Y/N) couldn't help but giggle. "Stop laughing! This is serious business!" Joesph said to (Y/N). "I know I know, please continue." She said sarcastically.
"Old Man, do you expect me to hear such a crazy story and just believe it?" Jotaro said. "The fact that we even have evil spirts is crazy enough isn't it." Avdol said. "Well, whatever." Joesph said not giving Jotaro enough time to continue arguing. "Soon, you'll have no choice but to believe. If you ask me why I know of Dio's existence and why I'm after him, I'll show you the reason!" Joesph said enthusiastically as if he was acting in a play. "I also suddenly obtained an evil spirit, or rather, the power of a Stand.". "What?!" Holly asked, surprised her father hadn't told her about this. It seems like the old man had tons of other secrets he hadn't told any of us about.
"Oi jiji, what do y-" Jotaro was cut off by Joesph yelling "I shall show you the power of my stand!" Joesph said an aura of energy around him. "HERMIT PURPLE!" he yelled and karate chopped a camera with his hand, covered in purple thorns. Everyone's heads in the restaurant all turned to them.
"Sir is everything alright?" A waiter asked politely. "Yes, go away." Avdol said bluntly. The waiter looked shocked but didn't question Avdol, he hurriedly walked away in silence. "Did you see it? The thorns that came from my hand, that was my stand Hermit Purple." Joesph said turning to Jotaro. " Jotaro, the vision that's going to appear in this picture, will determine your fate!" Joesph said dramatically. He held out a polaroid for the teens to observe.
"What?" Jotaro asked. "Jotaro, Holly, have either of you ever looked carefully at the back of your necks?" Joesph asked the pair. "What do you mean?" Jotaro asked. "You've probably never taken a close look, but right around the base of my neck there is a star-shaped birthmark." Joesph said. "I'll ask again, what the fuck does that mean." Jotaro asked, slightly more annoyed this time. "Apparently, those of the Joestar bloodline all have this birthmark." Joesph said, still holding up the photo.
"Oi jiji, what's about to appear on that photo?" Jotaro asked. "It's our destiny still left undiscovered!" Joesph yelled dramatically. (Y/N) grabbed the photo out of his hands, bringing it closer to her and Jotaro.
There was a beautiful blond man in the photo. He was posed sideways with his head tilted over his shoulder, his muscular build was almost impossible to take your eyes off of. (Y/N) blushed a little, it looked like something out of a adult magazine. She noticed the star birthmark on the back of his neck, all the Joestars had it. "Was this man a Joestar?" she wondered.
"DIO!" Joesph exclaimed, grabbing the photo back from (Y/N) and Jotaro. "This bastard stole my grandfather, Jonathan Joestars body!" Joesph exclaimed. Jotaro and (Y/N) gave him a dumbfounded look that said "What the fuck jiji?".
"All our stands have started appearing ever since this bastards coffin was found. I think it is somehow connected to Jonathan's body." Joesph said, trying to explain the situation. "We can't tell where he is from the photo, but we have to find him." Avdol said seriously.
"I apologize for bringing all this up so suddenly. Why don't we all head home for now and we'll talk more later." Joesph said standing up and leaving some cash on the check for the food. They all headed back to Holly's house. (Y/N) knew the Joestar's had a complicated past but this was on a whole other level.
Authors note: sorry for not posting yesterday. I had 2 tests bc I took the wrong one and had to do another one :( that sucked, but at least i'm back now and I don't have any tests to do. have a nice day or night, byeeee <3
