Chapter 30 - A Night At Sea

Eventually everyone was safely on the life boat. The crusaders and the random girl they picked up were floating in the middle of the ocean, stranded. "Well this fucking sucks." (Y/N) said, letting her had graze the water as they started sailing in a random direction. "Oi, (Y/N). Watch the language when your around children." Joesph said. "Pfft! Do you think she cares?! She threatened to cut Kakyoin's dick off!" (Y/N) exclaimed, pointing at the girl, who was asleep already, "Besides, she's sleeping. She can't even hear me."

 Kakyoin, Polanreff, and Jotaro nodded while Joesph and Avdol shook their heads. "Well anyways, what are we gonna do now?" (Y/N) asked. "We'll just head in a random direction and hope for the best." Joesph shrugged. (Y/N) groaned, "I guess its all we can do." she sighed. 

"Yeah, lets try to get some rest." Avdol said, trying to get comfortable, "We have a long journey ahead of us." "I guess your right." (Y/N) shrugged, trying to get comfortable on the small boat they were on. 

Joesph, Avdol, and the girl, who's name they had discovered was Anne, were sitting on one bench while Kakyoin and Polnareff took up the middle bench, leaving Jotaro and (Y/N) having to squeeze in the back of the boat. There were also a couple crew members on other boats floating around them but they were pulling the crusader's boat so they could get some rest. 

(Y/N) laid down on the bench, her legs bunching up so she didn't bump into anyone. Jotaro laid with his back turned to her to make things less awkward, even though they had practically slept together before, while everyone else got comfortable. (Y/N) sighed and lied awake for a while before falling asleep, she was extremely uncomfortable and cold. 

She woke up in the middle of the night because of the boat rocking from the waves, but this time she wasn't uncomfortable. She opened her eyes and realized she was covered in Jotaro's coat. It smelled like him, like cigarettes and cheap cologne. It reminded her of the time she shared a futon with him. 

(Y/N) blushed, "Did he give this to me?" she wondered. She looked around, everyone else was sleeping, besides Jotaro. He looked at her and said, "What are you doing awake?" (Y/N) jumped a little, he had surprised her, "Umm I don't know. I just woke up. Probably from the boat rocking." She said, before remembering she still had his coat, "Oh! I don't know if I accidentally took this from you." She said, about to give him back his jacket but he stoped her and turned away. 

"You were shivering." He said. (Y/N) stared at the back of his head, his hair looked so soft and (Y/N) hadn't noticed before. She blushed, "Oh... I'm sorry. If you are cold you should have it... It's your jacket after all." she said. 

Jotaro didn't respond, he wanted her to be comfortable even though he was freezing cold in his tank top. (Y/N) sighed and draped half of the coat over him, she laid facing away from him, their backs touching. She blushed even harder now, she could feel his back muscles move with every breath he took. 

"Dammit! I'm such a fucking idiot! Why do I put myself in such awkward situations!" She internally screamed. (Y/N) couldn't tell, but Jotaro was blushing too. He liked hearing her breath as she slowly fell asleep, it was calming to him. After a while, he fell asleep too. 

They suddenly awoke to the sound of a camera snap. "Huh?!" (Y/N) exclaimed as she jolted awake. Jotaro opened his eyes groggily and stared at Joesph, who had his camera out. 

"What the fuck?" (Y/N) asked, still trying to wake up. She blinked a couple of times and realized Jotaro was hugging her as they slept. "oh my fucking god it happened again." She thought, looking like a red tomato. 

"Hehehe" Joesph chuckled, holding a polaroid picture of them sleeping peacefully, "One for the memories." he teased. "Not cool, jiji." (Y/N) groaned, rubbing her forehead. Jotaro cracked his neck and sat up, (Y/N) doing the same. 

"Wakey wakey, lovebirds. We found a ship." Joesph said, pointing to the massive ship floating close to them. Kakyoin woke up next, "We made it?" he asked, rubbing his eyes. Joesph nodded and woke up Polnareff and Anne. 

Everyone had a few moments to wake up before they boarded the ship, not knowing what was in store for them. 

Authors note: damn, this chapter was almost all fluff 💀 sorry it was shorter than usual i didn't want to combine the fight with pedo orangutan and this in one chapter (it would be like 3000 words long) i kinda like it tho and i hope you enjoyed. btw the art at the top isn't mine but i couldn't find the artist (i just thought it was cute) :)
