"Well, fuck." (Y/N) said, on the floor of the plane. "Is everyone alright?" Joesph asked the crusaders. (Y/N), Kakyoin, and Avdol were all laying on the floor, recovering from the crash, while Joesph and Jotaro were in the pilot and co pilot seats. "As good as we can be after a plane crash." Kakyoin said. "How come you guys get to have seats while we had to tumble around on the floor?!" (Y/N) said, clearly pissed off. Joesph shrugged, "I don't know, it kinda just happened.". "Well, at least we are all safe." Avdol said. (Y/N) rolled her eyes and stood up, Kakyoin and Avdol got up too.
The flight attendent came into the cockpit, "Sir, we have just gotten the life boats and are preparing to exit the plane.". "Thank you, we'll help in any way we can." Joesph said. The flight attendant nodded and went to go get the passengers off the plane. After a while, everyone had evacuated the plane, including the crusaders. They were all sitting on a bunch of life boats and after a while, a helicopter went to go pick people up.
Eventually, the crusaders had made it to Hong Kong. Joesph went to go take a call on a public phone while the rest of the crusaders stood by a food cart. "Hey, big guy!" The man running the cart called Jotaro, "You guys aren't from around here are you? Want some rice porridge? Can't come to Hong Kong and not try rice porridge! We have some hot cola too.". "Rice porridge, eh? Sounds good." Kakyoin said, then he turned to Jotaro and (Y/N), "Hey guys, did you know that unlike in Japan, rice porridge is a staple in Hong Kong.". Then Kakyoin turned back to the man and asked, "Can I get one bowl of porridge, the popular way, with pork and a egg.". "Coming right up!" The man said happily.
"Can I have a bo-" Avdol asked, but he was cut off by Joesph, "Hey! Do you guys think we are going to eat here? We have to go to my old favorite.". "Hey, sir! Would you like some Hong Kong signature, hot cola?" The man running the stand asked. "Hot?! Everybody knows cola is supposed to be cold!" Joesph said angrily.
"Jiji, who were you just calling?" Jotaro asked. "I'll explain when we get to the restaurant. We need to work out a plan that'll get us to Egypt as quickly and safely as possible." Joesph said. "Well, I don't think we'll be taking a plane, that's for sure." (Y/N) said. "(Y/N) is right, we cannot allow any more civilians to get hurt. Even though it would be quick, it's not worth the risk." Avdol said. "Yeah, traveling by plan to Egypt is now completely out of the question." Joesph agreed.
The crusaders headed to the restaurant, Hong Kong was beautiful. Even though it was a life or death situation, (Y/N) had still enjoyed seeing the sights and traveling. The city was full of life, people were shopping and walking around in markets and malls. (Y/N) wished she could've stayed there on vacation, but their main focus was saving Holly.
"If we encounter another Stand user like the last one on a commercial flight, we'll cause another disaster. We'll have to get to Egypt by either land or sea." Joesph said as the crusaders sat around the table at the restaurant. "But if we fail to find Dio within fifty days..." Avdol trailed off. The table went silent, thinking about what to do.
"If we could've stayed on that plane, we'd probably be in Cairo by now." Kakyoin said. "Yeah..." (Y/N) said, looking down at her feet, Jotaro did the same. "It's too soon to panic." Joesph said, the crusaders turned their heads to him, "A hundred years ago, Jules Verne wrote the novel "Around the World in Eighty Days", if they could do that during the era of steamboats and trains, we can surely do it now." Joesph said confidently.
"As for the route..." Joesph said spreading out a map on the table, "I say we go by sea, we can get a boat and go through the Malay Peninsula to the Indian Ocean.". "I too agree that is best. Crossing borders could be trouble, and we'd have to cross the Himalayas and the desert. We could lose a great deal of time." Avdol said.
"I haven't traveled to those places using either route, so I can't offer any advice. I'll leave it up to you two." Kakyoin said. (Y/N) nodded, "Same for me. I haven't been anywhere outside the U.S and Japan, so I can't say anything." she said. Jotaro nodded in agreement, "Same." he said. "Then it's decided." Joesph said, closing the map.
Kakyoin reached for the teapot that was on the table and opened the lid and set it on the side of the teapot. Both Jotaro and (Y/N) looked over, Kakyoin noticed this and said, "This is how you signal you want more tea. In Hong Kong, if you place the lid like this, they will bring you more tea.". A waitress came over and poured Kakyoin some more tea. "When you've been poured your tea..." Kakyoin said, tapping the table twice with his pointer finger, "This means "thank you".
They were interrupted by a big french man with silver hair that stood straight on top of his head. "Excusez-moi, i'm visiting from France and i'm having a hard time reading the Kanji on this menu, could you please help?" The frenchman asked. "Shut up, you're annoying. Get outta here." Jotaro said to the man. The frenchman had a shocked face and (Y/N) glared at Jotaro, "Why the fuck is he so rude to everyone?" she wondered, although she didn't particularly like other people, she wasn't just going to turn them away if they needed help.
"Come on Jotaro, we can help him real quick. Jiji, can you translate it for him?" (Y/N) asked. "Thank you, mademoiselle." The man said to (Y/N). "I've been to China enough times to read a menu. Why don't you join us?" Joesph asked. The frenchman sat down, he seemed nice enough but (Y/N) felt that something was off, she just wanted Joesph to read the menu, not invite the strange frenchman to eat. Maybe she was just paranoid from the last fight, but she had a bad feeling.
Author's note: I'm finally done with schoolwork for today and I had time to relax and write this. I'm going to take a eat something and take a nap now. byeee <3
