"Ughh we finally made it!" (Y/N) said, cracking her neck as they got off their little boat. "Yup, now we just have to look for a hotel." Joesph said. "Let's explore and fine one. Then we can plan out our route to Egypt." Avdol said.
The crusaders nodded and wandered around until they were stopped by the police, "HEY YOU!" the policeman called and pointed to Polnareff. Everyone stopped and turned around, "Yeah! You with the flat top!" The police shouted. Polnareff made a confused grunt but the policeman kept yelling at him, "You! You threw this trash on the ground, didn't you? That's a five-hundred Singapore dollar fine!" he shouted.
"What? Five hundred?" Polnareff asked, confused. "Here in Singapore, the law prohibits littering and fines all violators for doing so!" The police man continued on. "Five hundred Singapore dollars..." Kakyoin muttered, trying to calculate the value in yen. "That's about forty thousand yen." Joesph said. "Trash?" Avdol asked, confused.
(Y/N) looked around, there was no trash around them anywhere. "What are you talking about, sir?" Polnareff asked. (Y/N)'s eyes landed on Polnareff's bag on the ground, it was a dirty old string bag that looked similar to a trash bag.
"Ohhh..." She muttered. Avdol chuckled a bit, "All I see on the ground is my own luggage. Would you be so kind to tell me what trash you're referring to, officer?" Polnareff asked, poking the policeman's chest, "You sure you see some trash?" Polnareff asked, the policeman looking terrified. "You mean, that bag is your luggage?" The officer stuttered. "Yeah, you've got it." Polnareff said. "I-I'm terribly sorry sir!" The policeman apologized.
The crusaders chuckled, they heard a loud laugh from behind them, it was Anne. The girl they had picked up on the boat a while ago. Everyone stared at her, the policeman leaving. "What's up with this kid? She's back with us again?" Polnareff asked.
"Hey, weren't you going to go see your father?" Joesph asked. "Yeah, what's up?" (Y/N) asked. "Stop hanging around with us and get going. Shoo!" Polnareff exclaimed. "I'm meeting him in five days. And I can go wherever the hell I want! I'm not taking orders from you jerks!" Anne yelled.
"It isn't safe for a little girl to accompany us..." Joesph said. "Well if she can go I can go!" Anne yelled, pointing at (Y/N). "Hey kid! I saved you! You can't come with us! You'll be in danger." (Y/N) said, Anne huffed and looked at Jotaro with puppy dog eyes. (Y/N) knew what was going on in that moment, "Oh god, she has a crush on him, doesn't she..." She thought, internally sighing.
"Well, maybe she lacks the cash for a place to stay." Kakyoin said. "I guess we'll have to get her a room." Joesph sighed, "Hey, Polnareff. Get her to come with us and try not to bruise her ego." Joesph said. "You got it." Polnareff said, approaching Anne, "Hey! You're stinkin' poor, aren't you? Consider this your lucky day, freeloader." Polnareff said, pointing to the rest of the crusaders. The crusaders facepalmed, "Well, let's check in..." Avdol said. Everyone nodded and they went into the hotel.
"I'm terribly sorry, sir, but we tend to be booked this time of year. The rooms we have are located on different floors. Is that all right, sir?" The receptionist asked politely. "Well, I guess we're stuck. Then for the rooms... Avdol and I will share a room." Joesph said. "I'll share a room with Polnareff." Kakyoin said, everyone looked at Anne. "I'M NOT SHARING A ROOM WITH THOSE TWO! YUCK!" Anne screeched, sticking her tongue out.
(Y/N) and Jotaro rolled their eyes, "I guess we'll book a separate room for the young lady, (Y/N) and Jotaro can share." Joesph said. The receptionist nodded gave them the keys to the rooms.
"Phew, finally a break. I'm gonna sleep like a baby tonight." Polnareff said, grabbing the key and walking away. "Bye guys. See you tomorrow." Kakyoin said, following Polnareff. The crusaders waved bye to them and went to their separate rooms.
(Y/N) walked up the stairs of the hotel, admiring the beautiful architecture. "Wow, this is a nice place, huh." She muttered. Jotaro nodded, "Yeah, too bad we can't stay here long." He said, looking down. (Y/N) saw the shift in his facial expression, "Don't worry. We'll make it to Egypt soon." She said to comfort him, but in her mind she wasn't sure.
Maybe they wouldn't make it in time, they already encountered many life threatening challenges and they hadn't even gotten close to Egypt. Her words did seem to make Jotaro feel a little better, his face softened a bit.
They reached the door of the room and walked in, "Woah..." (Y/N) stared at the beautiful room in front of her. Of course, living with Joesph for a good portion of her life got her used to nice things but she had never stayed at a hotel as pretty as this.
Jotaro flopped down on the bed, setting his hat on the bedside table. (Y/N) lied down on the couch in the room, deciding to give Jotaro his space, when he called her over. "Here. You can have the bed." He said, sitting up on the bed. "No, it's fine. You need your rest." She sighed, setting her bag down on the floor. "Nah, its fine. I'm going in the shower anyways." Jotaro said, getting up and heading to the bathroom.
(Y/N) sighed and lied down on the comfy bed and closed her eyes, enjoying her break from all the dangers on their journey.
