It was the day you were leaving to New York woth Robin, it was a girl's holiday away and if everything went to plan you could actually see yourself living there, Your bags where all packed as you sigh and sit the bed, Robin was supposed to arrive in a few hours and you and her where to drive down the airport with Steve to say your last goodbyes to him

You look over to your night stand and see a photo of you and Eddie where Eddie was hugging you from behind and you were smiling like crazy, You pick it up and analyse it for a second, You were going to miss him alot but he has his family now and anyways you kept telling yourself you were done with him,  He was nothing to you at this moment, You hold it to your heart and close your eyes shut trying your hardest not to cry as memories of Eddie flash through your brain like wild fire, You were taken out of thoughts as you hear a knock on the door

Y/N - Come in (you yell as the door opens)
Andrew - Hey kiddo, Have you got everything you need? (he peeks his head through the door)
Y/N - Yeah i cant wait to get out of this hell hole
Andrew - How come? (he walks over and sits next to you)
Y/N - Just thinking about stuff
Andrew - Is this about Eddie?
Y/N - Yeah just my emotions are everywhere and besides I hate him (you say trying to convince Andrew)
Andrew - Do you actually hate him? Or are you just really mad at him?
Y/N - What? ( you turn to look at him)
Andrew - Well seeing yous two together definitely didn't seem fake, Yous were both in love and i might be wrong but i think the only reason you are leaving is cause you can't face him due to how much you are in love with him but you found out the truth and it hurt, and now you are trying to play it off that you hate him cause you don't want to seem like the crazy girl who is in love with someone who has a pregnant girlfriend

You were speechless due to how Andrew said everything maybe he is was right but then again you have no idea how to feel about him anymore part of you loves him but part of you wishes you didn't meet him and you hated the fact that Andrew could see your feelings as if you were ghost you wanted to kept whatever felt for Eddie a secret and locked away to avoid vulnerability

You stand up and fix your hair as you finish packing Andrew sighed in defeat as if he wanted you to come clean to him but you weren't breaking, Out of no where your mum bursts in the door and looks at the both of you

Louise - How is the packing going?
Y/N - Good,  I'm almost finished just making sure I've got everything
Louise - Well when you are finished come down and have one last dinner with us all okay hunny
Y/N - Yeah thats fine

Her and Andrew leave the room, Now you might be asking why my mum is being so nice and thats completely right she has been nice to you ever since you and Eddie broke up but you liked the fact you were close now she was finally being the mother you always wanted,  As you add a few things to your bag you head downstairs and see your mum, Andrew and Jason all sitting round the dinning room table

Jason - How are you feeling? (he smiles at you)
Y/N - Nervous but really excited, It will be my frist time in a plane
Jason - Want me to do anything for you whilst your away?
Y/N - Yeah can you stay out of my room
Jason - Deal as long as you bring me back a present from New York
Y/N - That's if I do
Louise - Y/N (she yells as she gets shocked by your words)
Y/N - I'm joking of course I'll be back

You laugh as Jason smiles at you knowing deep down you werent joking,  You didn't tell your mum or Andrew about possibly moving to New York as you havnt thought it all the way through it was just a small idea the now

You all finish your dinner,  Laughters and memories where shared which you thought was the perfect way to say goodbye as You and Jason get the bags to the front door you hear a horn coming from outside signalling Steve was here to take you to airport

Y/N - Thats my ride (you smile widely)
Louise - Have fun and be safe okay (she hugs you) I love you
Y/N - I love you too mum and Andrew (you say as you hug Andrew)
Jason - Well step sis, I'll see you when you get back and dont get too drunk and always keep me posted
Y/N - Yeah i will dont worry (you hug him)

You say your last goodbyes before heading to the car with your bags,  You hear laughter and music as you see Steve's car at the end of the drive, The feelings over powering you where stopping you from going but you pulled through knowing you have the will power to do so

Robin - You do know we are going for a month right? (she yells as she sits on the door)
Steve - Robin get off my car (he says as he looks over at you)
Y/N - 7 bags will be fine but don't come crying to me when you havnt packed enough (you laugh as you open the boot)

The whole car ride there Steve and Robin where acting like everything was fine, The were laughing and making jokes as you quietly sat in the back of the car looking out the window seeing Hawkins going by,  A hint of sadness comes over as you accept that this is now your life,  You were heartbroken, Running away from your problems and very embarrassed

Robin - Earth to Y/N (she yells catching your attention) You okay?
Y/N - Yeah I'm fine just nervous
Robin - About what?
Y/N - this my frist time on a plane i guess (you mumble as you start to chew on your nail)
Steve - Bullshit,  You are heartbroken and still have the hots for Eddie
Y/N - No i dont I hate him i wished i never met that prick

You say catching a "are you serious?" look from Steve, You smile lightly as you arrived at the airport, This is it you are officially leaving,  As you all exit the vehicle to say your last goodbye to Steve you feel so upset that you were leaving Steve behind like he doesn't matter to you when he does and even he knew that even after everything you two had been through you were going to miss him talking about his latest girl he had sex with, you were going to miss hearing him laugh but most importantly you were going to miss his personality the only one who could pick you up when you were down

Steve - I'm going to miss you so much Y/N (he pulls in for a hug and kisses your check)
Y/N - I'm going to miss you too
Steve - Please don't get a new boy best friend and forget about me
Y/N - I'll never forget about you Steve and I'm not going to replace you

You smile at him as you and Robin pick up your bags and walking into your airport

Robin - Was It just me or him kissing you in the check was werid (she mumbles to you as you walk to your gate)
Y/N - Aww yeah definitely werid but he is going to miss me
Robin - Yeah he will miss his two girls (she wraps her arm around your neck and pull you in for a side hug as you walk)

You and Robin finally got on the plane and got passed everything you were currently looking out the window seeing people walk around the airport you can't help but wonder what was Eddie doing at this very moment,  You sigh as you close your eyes trying to get some sleep before arriving in New York,  That's it Y/N you are finally starting fresh and nothing is stopping you and definitely not some stupid boy this was a chance to change and you were going to take it
