Halley's pov
I was roofied. I can't remember anything from the party itself. It's frustrating. After a bit I'm told I can go home. I stand on wobbly legs and Eddie who's closest to me steadies me. I smile his way tiredly. I walk to hopper and hug him "hi" he hugs me "hey kid" I ask "how's everyone at the station" he chuckles "we're doing good kid. Though that's not what you should be worried about. How are you doing" I shrug "I'm okay" he nods and we hug again.

Steve leaving wasn't a surprise to me. He's always leaving. So is everyone else. Hopper says "it's dangerous to walk anywhere now Hales. Promise me you won't anymore." Who told him? I'm fine my legs work. I nod "yeah" he shakes his head "cut the shit Halley." He knows me too well. Billy and Eddie say "we'll drive her" what? They're not my chauffeurs. It's not their responsibility. I shake my head "no. It's okay I'm fine" hopper reminds me "people are going missing and turning up dead and you think it's smart to walk alone every where? You won't take rides from me when I offer it. So take it from one or both of them"

I say "if I were to get taken it would've happened already right? I'm fine" Billy speaks "don't say that comet. We're picking you up and dropping you off. Okay? We won't risk it. And who's to say that whoever drugged you isn't the one taking and killing people? What if that was his plan tonight and you got lucky?" I walk out and sign myself out the hospital. Hopper tells me "your parents were informed but they were too busy to take off." Of course they were what else is new? I could've been taken and raped and maybe even murdered but their vacations are more important. Their work is more important.

I nod "Mhm" finishing the paperwork and whatnot. Eddie opens the door to Billy's car "hop in" I shake my head "it's late I can't ask you to drive me I can walk" Billy gives me a look "do I have to force you into the car again comet? Because I will. I snap out of it when I'm grabbed and thrown over a shoulder "Billy let me go!" I scold wiggling trying to get free. He huffs "wouldn't have to be this way if you just got into the fuckin car Halley!" "I told you I can walk!" I snap.

"And I told you it's no bother for me to fucking drive you! I drove you this far right?! Fucking hell hales just let me get you home! I'm the reason you're here anyways!" He snaps back. I keep wiggling and he snaps "stop movin or your ass will end up sore" his words make me freeze and blush. He wouldn't right? He walks back and tells Eddie "open the car" and he does and Billy puts me in it. "That so hard for you Darlin?" I tell him "I coulda been halfway home by now" "no you couldn't have. You coulda been kidnapped by now and turned up dead in three days. Whoever drugged you coulda came back for more if you continued to walk alone at almost one am. Stop being stubborn and let us care about you and be good friends okay? This is what friends do right? Care about one another when they don't care about themselves? Give eachother rides when one of their brothers are being a douche bag. Let us just give you rides to and from school. And wherever you wanna go. We just want you to be safe. Not end up on a missin poster" he sighs.

Eddie replies "he's right sunshine" why? So they can decide one day that I'm not enough or worth more than a joke and leave? Eddie caresses my cheek his rings soothing my slightly heated flesh "please" hopper says "either you take a ride from them or me. And do me a favor? Stay away from parties for the mean time" I'd be happy to. I nod "okay" accepting defeat. Maybe I can talk my parents into getting me my own car? Maybe. Billy nods and strokes my cheek giving my forehead a kiss and he mutters "good girl" and his words make me blush and look away and they close me into the car and Eddie slides into the back and Billy drives. Eddie asks "how are you feeling sunshine?" Noting my pained look and I sigh "head ache" Eddie leans forward and touches my forehead and tells Billy who asks "well?" "No fever." He replies and the doctor told me to look out for one just in case. They also told me to stay home from school tomorrow and maybe even the next day depending on how I feel.

I don't necessarily feel like going to school right now anyway. They told me about the scene Billy made. Everyone knows now. I'll be seen more than ever. I'll be seen as the harrington slut who got drugged. I nod and Eddie says "you'll be able to hit your bed soon hales. And you will have the best sleep ever" but I can't hear him because I fall asleep again.
